Portland vs Denver
I don't have time to really give much writeup or analysis.
This game comes down to the Nuggets moving the ball around more until they find the best shot. Too often in the previous matchup they were setting for jumpers with little time off the clock. We all saw how that worked out. Karl is 3-1 in revenge situations this year. The past few games have shown that the Nuggets have to get out to a much better start and attack the basket. The key is to not get into foul trouble with guys like Faried, Koufos (who has been playing great), and McGee. A little sad Mozgov will be traded but they have too many big men and not enough minutes. Denver will play with the hands in the face defense tonight, but not get too close up on the shooter to get beat off the dribble like before. They will respect the shooters, but not play too aggressively going for blocks. I look for this game to be one of the most sound fundamental basketball games the Nuggets have played this season.
