There's another thing I look for, and that's "late movement for no reason" meaning within an hour or two before tipoff, the line moves a point or two one way or the other (spread wise, I don't pay attention to this in terms of O/U) and I noticed Clippers moved up a point in that timeframe, and Lakers have moved up .5-1 point in this range...Keeping an eye out on that game because I believe that whoever has insider access to the locker rooms, or is watching shootaround can get a stronger vibe of which team looks better than the other, which is significant.

Makes perfect sense to me Animals - almost always significant like going 'round the saddle barn, paddock, jockey's locker-room, etc. to take the temperature of the contestants - can tip off just who's most  ready willing and able to wind up winning.
