#1 Posted: 1/8/2013 3:38:12 AM I love both of these games. Suns are in a great place here. Lakers will win this game I have a gut feeling that cannot be explained. I expect them to be something like +4.5 with the injuries to Howard/Gasol.

#4 Posted: 1/8/2013 3:50:54 AM I think Kobe goes for 40 in the win, they will not lose this game. Don't believe me just watch.
Bucks just lost their coach and the Suns are 37-5 against Bucks and have dominated them in Milwaukee. Not to mention they have swept the season series two years in a row. Suns is the play. I will also do a teaser with both of them, which I cannot see losing. |

#6 Posted: 1/8/2013 8:30:30 AM lakers probably need 100 ppoints to beat the rockets. Lets see whose gonna score 100 points.
Kobe: I'll be nice to you and give him 40 points
World peace: 15 points and the line for him is 13.5
Nash: 15 points i'll be nice to u knowing he cant penetrate and can only shoot beyond the arc
Jamison 20 points: very kind here.
And the rest of the team 10? is that how you gonna get your 100 points? thats just wishful thinking. You also know lakers brought in D-league players to fill dwights shoes right? |

#8 Posted: 1/8/2013 8:59:45 AM If lakers win it, then i will stop believing in basketball. Without Howard but with Gasol i will play them. Now its to much, who will rebound and who will stop Asik? |

#9 Posted: 1/8/2013 9:01:31 AM Wow you are about throw away money if you take the Lakers... they WILL NOT win this game! No way the Rockets lose at home to a Lakers team w/o Pau and Howard. Omer Asik would dominate the boards and so would Greg Smith off the bench. No one will be able to guard the paint, Harden and Lin will be driving all day. Too many scoring options for the Rockets.. Carlos Delfino, Parsons, Patterson, Douglass, Marcus Morris?? Honestly the the only way the Lakers win is if it's fixed and you'd be lucky if good ole Joey Crawford is the ref. Remember they BEAT the lakers before here at home w/ Howard and Gasol. Do yourself a huge favor and bet the Rockets... |

Yes I know they are bringing in the D-League player. I don't think you looked too deep into this game though.
Last time the Lakers played the Rockets in Houston, a game I actually watched, it was very close. The Lakers led the entire game not to mention they had no Steve Nash or Pau Gasol. Dwight Howard was the reason they lost that game because they hacked him in the final 5 minutes and he missed half of his free throws. Dwight Howard is the reason they lost that game and he really didn't do much. Other than missing 8-16 free throw attempts he scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. I think Sacre will be able to put up about the same numbers. I have a good feeling Jamison will score good points and rebounds like last time. He put up 15 points 10 rebounds, 3 blocks on 50% shooting. To me this line is a gift and I hope you guys pound it until it's 9. |

#16 Posted: 1/8/2013 12:52:20 PM I'm against you on the Phoenix/Milwaukee game. Just see a first-home-game-after-coach-got-fired situation here. Good luck, EastOakland... |

#18 Posted: 1/8/2013 1:04:43 PM People saying theres "No Chance" of the lakers winning/covering obviously didn't watch two of THEE best teams in the NBA lose to cupcake squads last night. Anything is possible, believe that! As for me, havent decided yet but am leaning on LAL |

That's true, but those were it's own situations; BOS/NY was a heated divisional game, veterans WILL step up when key players are down, ESPECIALLY for divisional games. OKC/WAS was a letdown spot for OKC. This was a b2b, coming from Toronto, Canada to Washington. I expected OKC to still win, but in no way was I gonna lay 10 points of wood, with a matchup with Minnesota looming on Wednesday.
Trust me, it's easy to look in hindsight at those games, I understand. But it's not necessarily about trends or line movements. Sometimes, you've gotta look at it from a basketball players/coaches perspective, which DOESN'T include point spreads or totals but does focus on 6 regular-season months of game management to get into the playoffs. Just my 2 cents. Good luck, everyone... |

#20 Posted: 1/8/2013 1:33:42 PM P.S. Both of those earlier mentioned games from Sunday & yesterday for OKC were non-conference games, by the way... |

#23 Posted: 1/8/2013 2:02:09 PM I won't even compare yesterdays games of different teams to todays games...doesn't make any sense. But you should take it as something. It does make sense that the line keeps going up because everyone is pounding Houston. Obviously the Lakers are short handed here, with three people missing who ever they may be. It only means they will go with a smaller faster line up tonight which will not be bad. No one on the Rockets will stop Kobe. Not to mention he is motivated and hates losing. Ebanks will probably get some good playing time. Harden is still having nightmares of Artest's elbow to the dome. |

A lot of bad beats this year in the NBA....huge leads end up in mooses. Only bet NBA when the time is right. I played Denver the other night against the Lakers which was a nice win, but Im not sure if I posted it. I will be posting my plays more, I have just been busy honestly. I like to stay in the Western Conference because I know more about the teams. |
