I would be very careful with that line of thinking. If they lose, they will likely lose by at least 4 points. All six of their losses have been by 4 points or greater and the average margin of loss is 7.5 points.
Their schedule is not setup for four close games. They may even get blown out one game if they are running with tired legs against a motivated opponent...

#29 Posted: 1/1/2013 11:34:09 AM I'm kinda surprised that Clippers are not favored. Cippers were favored in their past 9 road games. Very fishy... |

Favored?? Against a 9-1 home team? I'm kinda surprised the Nuggets are only laying one point.

The Nuggets home record is very impressive, considering their road heavy schedule thus far. Just as an aside, the Nuggets play 15 of their next 18 games at home, with only 2 B2B's. They are in position to go on a nice streak, regardless of what happens tonight.

Think of how LAC nearly lost to Utah in Utah a few days ago - now they face a more formidable opponent in Denver.
I can totally see people riding the Clippers streak. However the quality of their wins doesn't have me that impressed. The Nuggets, Pistons and Spurs probably did something to piss Stern off because their schedules are horrendous.
Take a look at Doug Moe's system (mentioned in NBA Nuggets Media Notes). Throw out the first 10 games of the season.
You got Nuggets +7 and Los Angeles Clippers +5.
clips were on that horrible b2b west coast to utah and utah was rested and clips still won. |

#37 Posted: 1/1/2013 3:07:55 PM Don't see why you'd go against Denver in probably their biggest game so far this season.
The nuggets get up for big games. |

Besides the Nuggets, shouldn't one bet the Ravens now before they go to 7 over the lowly playoff bound Colts and their sidekick luck.
Another thing, isn't it a good idea to bet the halftimes in both these games?
Sorry about the football.......15-yd penalty!

#44 Posted: 1/1/2013 6:13:21 PM Pretty risky for alot of these posts on here to be "very confident" or "100% sure" Denver wins when a team has won 17 in a row...Change the thinking and rationale a little, I would be in agreeance. Consider how many people the past 10-12 games thought "Clippers for sure lose/don't cover" and lo and behold they most likely felt silly that night. So choose your thoughts and words wisely. |

#45 Posted: 1/1/2013 6:18:37 PM I think they break Boston's streak of 19 and possibly lose on Sat to GS after they get exhausted from playing these tough opponents. |

#50 Posted: 1/1/2013 6:44:55 PM I think Vegas offering -110 on a Denver pick'em is a TERRIBLE line for value against a Clips team that has won its last 17. |
