Nuggets pk
Feel free to discuss. I'm not playing until I see the refs. But Karl is 2-1 in revenge situations this year (Only loss being MIA at home). On top of that Nuggets seem almost always bounce back after a horrible offensive performance.

I won't be playing this match because I don't bet against teams riding hot streaks and not one to stop it either. Instead I ride the streak not go against it. However this is one game I will stay away from tomorrow.

Sound like the same way people thought about the Spurs when they came into Pepsi. Don't let the previous blowout fool you - LAC scored 40+ pts in the 2nd quarter last time. True the pick and roll has gotten the best of Denver - but the home court advantage here cannot be underestimated. Think of how LAC nearly lost to Utah in Utah a few days ago - now they face a more formidable opponent in Denver.
I can totally see people riding the Clippers streak. However the quality of their wins doesn't have me that impressed. The Nuggets, Pistons and Spurs probably did something to piss Stern off because their schedules are horrendous.
Take a look at Doug Moe's system (mentioned in NBA Nuggets Media Notes). Throw out the first 10 games of the season.
You got Nuggets +7 and Los Angeles Clippers +5.

Don't get me wrong I think Denver is the team that can end this streak but everyone thought the same thing when Clips flew to Utah after they beat Boston at home and flew the next day to Utah. However in this case you have a clips team that is rested.
Clips % are very strong and you prob right these numbers are scewed in the matchup because clips schedule has been much weaker compared to Denvers.
I will take a look at doug moe's system ................
I just won't forget what clips did to denver in LA and biggest lead was 21 points at one time............don't see that happening tomorrow |

#14 Posted: 1/1/2013 1:01:28 AM its true utah are good at home but anyway it was pretty tight games, other games were phoenix det mil charlotte chicago, all winnable games, good they won. 10 other wins during the streak was at home they won all the winnable games, its true you still have to win these games, no gimmicks in nba. but tmmr vs denver, its a real test, denver pretty solid only at home we will see! clippers +1 right now, the line is correct i respect the clippers but the streak might end tmmr, anyway winning streak or not, denver will be really motivated to win and get the revenge of christmas day match.

The Clips streak has a very strong chance of ending this week with 2 sets of difficult B2B's. Even Del Negro has spoken of their onerous upcoming schedule. Playing @ Golden State tomorrow, who will have had 3 days rest, is no easy task, especially if the game tonight is fierce. Then they face the Lakers on Friday, who will have had 2 days off to prepare for a game that could be pivotal for their psyche. Finally, the Clipshow play the Warriors again on Saturday. The Warriors, FYI, only play 2 games this week---both against the Clips.
The schedule is set up for the Clips to lose l not once, but perhaps 2 or 3 times this week. My question is which games do I take the opponent on the ML? I'm not sure tonight is the best night. But there is certainly ample upcoming opportunity. If they run this gauntlet and go 4-0, I will be supremely impressed.
