1-3 on Christmas
-230

Hope everyone had a great holiday. Even though I lost in NBA I still enjoyed Christmas with my family which is most important anyway. Didn't even watch the games. But I have a good feeling about today's games and you guys may want to consider some of these plays. Regardless I will win tonight. I will be posting my plays shortly.

Raptors vs Spurs
SA is coming off one of their best performances of the season setting a franchise record 20 3pointers. They also forced 20 turnovers(17 steals). Keep in mind they did this against the worst defensive team in the league who also released one of their better players "D.Fisher" at his request. Toronto will be without 3 of their starters Bargnani, Lowry, and Valanciunnas. Valanciunnas is the reason Toronto had a slim chance of winning vs SA on Nov. 25. He had a career high 22 points. With all these injuries for Toronto you have think they must figure out how to slow down SA before they even think of how they will keep up. SA is well rested and Toronto is traveling.

Terrence Ross could see more time this game due to all these injuries and he's been one if Toronto's better defenders.

Rockets vs Wolves
While Houston has been playing well of late, one of their weaker spots has been on the 2nd of b2b games. I see Houston having a little trouble here against Minnys bigs. Minnesota has shown me they are no fluke defensively as they held OKC and NY both under 100 points.

Under Minn 208
Minn -5.5

Bobcats vs Heat
Miami is on the 2nd of a b2b here as well traveling from the West back to the East. The Heat weren't too thrilled about playing on X-mas and probably aren't too happy playing the day after. After a win over the Western Conference champs I see Miami overlooking the Bobcats who will likely have Gorden and Henderson back in the lineup. Charlotte is well rested and we all know how much they love to run. I don't think Lebron and Co. will have the energy to cover the points in this matchup. Lebron already said how tired he was after this trip.

Charlotte +10

Lakers vs Nuggets
My play here is simply based on the two coaches behind these teams, "D'Antoni and Karl". While LA may be on a b2b here they should be well rested after flying to Denver shortly after their win at home vs NY. Denver unfortunately had to make the trip to LA and back. I see another battle of offenses here like the first matchup and have no problem taking the Over with these two coaches in the mix.

Over Denver 214.5

Pistons vs Hawks
Atlanta hasn't proven to me they cant cover these high spreads very often. So this is simply based on the teams performance of late and the high spread.

Knicks vs Suns
NY and Phoenix have both struggled from behind the arc of late. NY shot 9 of 26 vs the Lakers shooting 31.2% in the last 5. Phoenix has gone 8 of 36 in their last two games and is averaging 16 turnovers to NY's 10.8, a league low. With the return of Camby to help Chandler I see NY dominating the glass. I also see a slower more methodical gameplan. Look for NY to take advantage of their mismatches down low in this one.

NY -3

Magic vs Hornets
With Davis out of the lineup for Orlando I think its slowly catching up to them. They ran out of gas against Utah which I had and I think they do it again here Anderson facing his former team. I like NO to snap out of their funk in this spot.

NO +3

BOL to all.
If you guys have any other legit info that makes any of my plays stronger feel free to post it here.

dude, do your research...the Heat played at HOME...so they arent doin any west to east traveling for todays game. Cmon man. You cant post plays and not know this. And who told you they werent happy playin on a primetime game against OKC?? lol. Ridiculous. Whether or not they cover, who knows, but to say they are coming west to east for a back to backer is stupid.

@Delino349
Thx for pointing that out. I had it confused with some other game obviously but they are traveling north and still may be tired after Christmas and playing the West Champs. I made a simple mistake which isn't hard to figure out anyway if you were tuned in to yesterdays games which I was not seeing I had better things to do with my family. About them not being to happy playing on Christmas. I read that in an article in which Lebron made the comment. Some players would rather be with their families than be on primetime TV. Thx again for correcting me and its nice to know covers has such great helpers. It was a simple mistake not a "stupid" one. A "stupid" mistake would be if I argued the facts which I do not. So keep your "stupid" comments to yourself and respect the record.

Anyway, im on the heat small so good luck with your Char play. Lastly, dude, I did that Xmas thing as well but am aware enough where they played.

Traveling North may not wear Miami down but playing OKC may have. I'm just hoping for a positive day regardless. GL as well.

Adding SA -13
110 to win 100.
Toronto has made their little run. I think this is where it stops.
