Are some people actyally betting it at -7 right now?  Anyway, The Lakeshow was in Denver when the Nuggets were tipping off in LA last night...

This line has "sucker bet" written all over it... but call me a sucker, because i love it.... nuggets cant shoot from the outside, this will make it much easier for the lakers to defend them...its a questiln of energy and effort - will the fakers have the energy, effort amd hustle tonight to get over the .500 mark?

I believe it's become an issue of pride. Look for the Lakers to dominate. I watch the game last night and it's the first time I seen them put effort in like a team. Give all the thanks to the Canadian Captain Steve Nash. He really brought that team together. Look at Ron Artest play last night he fought for a ton of balls

believe me, they have the effort ot get over .500...

anybody playing with KOBE would be scared as hell to show anything otherwise.

they question is, will Kobe (whos top 5, maybe top 3) in minutes played have the energy in the thin air? how tired will denver be....

to me, lakers is the play here @ +pts....denver wont cover every game at home. over might be better play

always trust a canadian when you need heart behind something.

thats why canadians are always captains in hockey and not Americans, rarely euros

Its not an issue of pride - its an issue of playing a b2b in the toughest place to play a b2b in the entire league.... teams routinely fly into denver on the second night of a b2b and get smoked ... lakers are already notorious for mailing in road games and showing up with lethargic effort.... denvers shooting is horrendous, but they are agressive, push the pace and hit the boards hard on offense.....

This should be a tight game, and if denver does win by double digits it wouldnt surprise me, but i am willing to take a chance on the +4

Agree with you vaas187 hahahaha

Yeah, not saying they win, however I bet they give you 110% tonight. They were down pretty large against the Knicks and they didn't implode, which I thought they would.  Kobe actually passed the ball and Pau played his role, 13 points, 8 rebounds & 6 assists. Nash came in and literally was the QB, he's vital. I always bet against a team who loses their starting PG, very difficult to play without. Hence fading the lakers for a long time. I'm in no way a Laker fan, however I'm a Nash fan, the mofo even played some defence yesterday lol he can run this team, Kobe just needs to give up his me first role. If he does, then they can win games.

This is why the call it gambling, I will take the plus points. The altitude is the one thing that can stop them tonight.

Spot on! They can't F-ing shoot anymore..Gallo and Igudala went stone cold about 2 weeks ago, Lawsons no shooter, and Koufos and the Manamal have a range to about 3 feet away from the basket..If its not a rebound and a dunk, fast break or ally oop...They don't score! The other day they had 90 points and 80 of them where in the paint.

Lakers with Nash and Gasol back..Its a team again

I think it comes down to turnovers. With Nash they get transition baskets from them. Metta gets steals, and theyre better setting up for the 3.

14-14 is a huge milestone. No need to revert and put it all back to an average team that was manhandled every qtr just a few hours ago. People are gonna sell out thayt arena to watch the Lakers exhibition.

It does seem like a new beggining for this Laker team doesn't it? The Nuggets will try hard, they always do, but I just think they've become one demensional..

Gallinari is killing them on the O end but just awful on the D end...

Nuggs are just weak defensively and the KEY factor here is they arrived back in Denver at 3-4 in the am....its a bad spot for them especially the way they are playing and the fact that the Lakers have some momentum now...

1st H was ok. 2nd H was typical for this version of the Phaquers--no defense and no heart to finish. I'm beg. to think Howard is  just a country club player and basically a poison in the clubhouse and on the court. Kobe is 100% all the way to the end. Howard just isn't there mentally. Physically yeah.

Phaquers cost me a huge parlay last night, so I say PHUQ

the FAKERS !!! There'sn a reason to believe they may never rise up this season.

BiggDoug's basketball plays since I started tracking him on 11/26 have singlehandedly financed my way through this holiday season.

I love you BiggDoug, don't ever change.
