Orlando has been very underrated I believe. They have a really solid defense and I would also lean towards taking the under. The refs seem on this one seem really whistle happy and don't have a problem throwing T's ejecting players. Only reason I stay off the under is I believe 3 point shooting may be a theme in this game. Davis being out doesn't bother me for the Magic... plenty of guys on that team looking to prove their worth to Vaughn and management. Affalo has been coming up with big games against the NW division (probably cause he knows those opponents well playing for Denver). I noticed his ppg prop is up 2.5 pts to 17 @ -140 now. Too much juice to suck up and play - but if the line drops to -110ish I will likely play.
Mott has been very good towards LAC in the past. Very good at buying into their BS on little contact fouls. Unless LAC shoots horribly from the FT line or can't make any outside shots, I can't see PHX winning. Obvious advantages go to LAC on the boards and ability to force TO's. PHX needs a huge game from guys like Dragic, Morris, and Gortat to win this one. While LAC has lot to some weird teams - they haven't really lost terribly on the road since mid November on a BK, ATL B2B trip. Other than that - they've had close contests with OKC and Utah on the road. Given the fact that this game is divisional - it should mean even more to both teams. Under may be solid given the way each defense is playing - however the way LAC controls the pace has been really varying lately. Which is the reason why I think teams are having problems gameplanning for them. They play well running, and also well in the half court. Clippers are a very dangerous team right now - possibly the most dangerous in the Association.
As always - Best of Luck to everybody in the Association today!
