Both Grizzlies and Nuggets lost straight up in this situation last night.

Cliff I agree with the trend... However I am also trying to focus on the standings and those teams that need to get in play with more pressure. Like the Lakers last night- This I think is worth a good look to see who gets the final seat, who is about to be mathematically eliminated etc.

Another thing to look at is the freaking 3 pt based teams and how they have performed in their recent games.

As you know the over on the Heat yesterday was just like a week ago something that does not occur often. My 3pt based teams- (they win when they fall, if not they have a tough time winning)

Lakers
Clippers
Mavs
Blazzers
Knicks

Am sure there are others

The game in Boston has a great potential for going overboard according to the line movements.

Over 191.5  BOS Celtics - NY Knicks

The way I see it betting is part of the entertainment.  Betting is a way to maximize the viewing enjoyment of the game.  The trill of knowing the outcome when you review as many variables that you feel necessary.  The watch the game for the pleasure and for the measure of how well you can predict the outcome.  Yes I am also a FAN so I limit my betting to only a few games which I can watch on television.  Generally no TV no bet except of those which are critical to a playoff or revenge.  Yes I follow most of your rules but I really get into the games which I have placed a wager on.  So in  summary if you enjoy the game bet on it if you fell comfortable on the outcome and most of all enjoy the game and win money too!

Mavin asked you to lay off the big letters. What are you trying to achieve by screaming your question?
Secondly - your question is already something we all used to by trolls.
If you want a response to your question, rephrase is and write it in a normal text . That's all. Easy.
I can feel Mavin's frustration with the fact that we're not protecting the integrity of this thread enough and therefore we see him less and less with less valuable input.
I don't want that to happen and you don't want that to happen because at least me - I am here because of Mavin

first time posting..first pick..

This game will be playoff atmosphere. Doesnt matter if cp3 is in or not (most likely out), mavs will give it their all. Huge rlm as well but thats not rlly y im picking it. If the mavs want to make the 8th seed, they have to start winning games. They have a tough schedule coming up, and a win at home and against a top tier team will boost their confidence. Taking the home on this one.

what makes you say that?? your question just sounds dumb to begin with.. what makes this week the toughest week to bet on?? or tougher than last week even? i'm personally asking cause i've been rolling this week. So if it's a 'tough week' i hope there's more of them

lol MADNESS!! seriously man this NIT stuff can't hold me over.. DYING FOR THURSDAY TO COME. but yup thanks to ALL the great contributors to this thread, learning so much, NBA and college are 2 different games and have to be treated as such i'm learning that.
some people come here to tail 1 or 2 people and that's fine.. maybe when i'm 90-64 someday they'll follow me too lol.. but until then, i enjoy every minute discussing games with you guys honing our craft..i am a 100% believer in this thread and am far more disciplined and on top of my game than ever! and Mavins rules and contributions are a huge part of that! Mavin has a way of saying things that resonate with you for a long time, which is a good thing.

Hey Marvin I'm a first time poster in your thread, I've been lurking for awhile now and feel that I now have the discipline to enter your contest. I hope you continue your work in helping others to learn and improve in capping.

For today my picks are:

BOS Celtics -2
NY Knicks/BOS Celtics over
DAL Mavericks -1

The celtics have lost their last 4 games, they're due for a win and there isn't a better place than at home.

Dallas is still on the hunt for a playoff spot, and I feel that they will turn up for this game and take advantage of a hurt clippers team.

BOL everyone !

Ps. As of recently you and Midas are da man and are killing it- keep up the good work.
