If that is true and given your signals  - you're up more than 11 thousand dollars - sky is the limit?

That is awesome. The top three are killing it. King midas is King.

I would also mention that about 7 of my losses are by one bucket and I know that 3 of phixer's loses are also by a bucket and with my B+2 mentality some are even wins and or pushes. But overall Mavin you have created something great here.

I have been dismal lately.  Going with the Heat at home after a long road trip with the streak still intact.  Home team is 5-1 ats last 6 and this one is gonna be an asskicking.  Like Memphis with the D and a good road team to boot.  And finally gonna try Cleveland again, just getting too mant points for me to pass up against a high scoring Houston team that has no defense.

29-23

MIA Heat -15.5

MEM Grizzlies -6.5

CLE Cavaliers +12.5

BOL!

Hey all,

Eryximaque 28-26-1

OVER 197 DAL Mavericks-BOS Celtics

Could be risky, but Boston has recover Garnett, and they have to win tonight after this loss Vs Hornets, Green made an high career 43 points Vs the Heat
I like Terry saying : “I’m about to get more aggressive,” he promised. “I already know what time it is. Any time you have a game like I had tonight, it’s time to turn up the aggression level.

“I can’t wait until the third or fourth quarter and think I’m just going to get it going. So that’s my responsibility. The team is counting on me. And I told them, ‘This one’s on me,’ so I’ll definitely make up for it Friday."

They have last 3/4 game with a score >100, except Vs Hornets. tonight should be better, ego's power ! No many trends for Over on the Boston's side, except 5-3 Vs good offensive team 2nd half of the season

On the Dallas side, they have to win tonight if they want a chance to run to Playoff, 104 PPG at home

19-11 at home, 39-27 overall. 4-1 in home game when score is between 195 and 199.5

Hopefully I made myself clear that I wasn't griping about any explanations or anything, but instead trying to send a message that everything is certainly good enough for me.  It appears that most of those involved in this thread are strong enough not to let nitpickers disrupt things too much, but I've seen many people in the past get upset and leave the forums that I think could've contributed a lot, so i get paranoid.  Mavin, do you anticipate this thread extending to other sports beyond NBA?  If equal talent can be built up for baseball, that could be deadly.

muneemaker (11-7-1)

MEM Grizzlies -6
CLE Cavaliers +12
DET Pistons +15.5

NO is a three ball team, i think mem can bother them enough to cover.
Cavs are around 8-1 as dd dog and the roquetts overvalued due to some early blowout wins at home.
Mia can play down to opponints and this streak is making good fuel for that. they are tired of all the hype and stress of making history and will cruise but not fly

I hope this thread keeps going so that it keeps allowing us to get better. I myself plan to start an NFL thread because that is what I am good at. This is my first real year taking on the wonders of the NBA and it is much tougher than I thought. I love the summers in NY and yet I wish I could fast forward to September lol.

I can assure you that people here are self confident enough to have a presence of mind and maturity to figure the things out .  I am doing what I think is right to do and will continue to do. I will extend this to all the sports with time including MLB. I have no problem with anyone doing what is right to do but would not relate to the comments that come to impose things on people. As I said before: I set the policy and also implement it the way I see it fit and I am pretty sure that the vast majority of people here agree with that policy and like it as the results are seen day by day. I respect and appreciate everyone here but make the decisions myself.
I like your comment and appreciate the calm down message you're sending

Musicmatt1  36-39-1

MIL Bucks +7.5

Under 192.5 IND Pacers - MIL Bucks

Under 200 SA Spurs - UTA Jazz

Going to keep playing match-ups with playoff implications.   These are the 2 of the 3 games (other being Dallas/Boston).  I like the Under's because I think in these situations teams play better defense.  I also have found luck on betting the dog.  I like the Bucks the best out of the 3 dogs because they are the team set to play Miami if the season ended today and also because the Pacers (and Spurs if you were leaning Jazz) have already locked down playoff berths.  Also, I think it may take Parker a little time to find his rhythm, slowing down the game as well.

Too bad that Phixers pick was a "loss" yesterday, since I put a lot of money it AND WON! I feel it was a very good pick so its a shame. The over line was 187 when I placed my wager, so it had dropped down 2 points at Pinnacle. So THANKS for the pick guys! (KingMidasTouch & Turbovtk equally also!) This thread is kicking it, awesome awesome work from everybody.

LoLITiltU 0-0

BOS Celtics +4.5

First official (legal) pick. Boston has lost their last two games (with 2 points vs Miami and 1 point vs NOH) and they are really fighting the Bulls and the Hawks for that fifth place in Eastern Conference. They really need the win here and have been losing with 2 points or less.

Same goes for Dallas, if they want to have a shot at making it to the playoffs they must win here. Therefore I think this should be a very close game, both teams should put in the effort.

I might add another pick later.

Thanks on behalf of the thread. Yesterday was a good example of why I buy points, Matt can vouch for that.

I hope we start a thread for baseball, for that is the sport that I already have a season of betting experience and good knowledge of.Baseball and hockey are my top sports followed closely by football, have to admit that I have never really followed basketball except from afar cause hockey is always in full swing.I wanted to be a part this thread to make myself a better capper, and although I still have work to do, I believe it has, thank you Mavin for this thread!

Mavin I think we should set some standard for adding picks or as they call it in the game of poker string bets.

I think when adding new picks one must set at the top of the post the record and old pick as to make easier later when adding them on. If you are waiting until late to add them that is.

greengiants 29-32

Under 192 TOR Raptors - NY Knicks

RLM play

-Under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings

-Under is 4-1 in Raptors last 5 home games

-Under is 6-0 in Knicks last 6 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game

Under 198.5 SA Spurs - UTA Jazz

RLM play, I don't believe the Jazz will score enough points for this game to go over.

-Under is 5-1 in Spurs last 6 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.

-Under is 4-1 in Spurs last 5 overall

-Under is 6-1 in Jazz last 7 vs. NBA Southwest

-Under is 4-1 in Jazz last 5 games following a S.U. loss

Over 199 MIA Heat - DET Pistons

Pistons are on 3 days rest, they will have fresh legs to score some points but they have no defense to stop the King!

-Over is 3-0-1 in Pistons last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home

-Over is 5-1 in Pistons last 6 games following a S.U. loss

-Over is 4-1-1 in Heat last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400

-Over is 8-2-1 in Heat last 11 home games.

Best of luck tonight everyone!
