Again 1-2... Let's focus !!

Eryximaque 27-23

LAC Clippers -9.5

Injuries with Evans not expected today, and Cousins doubtful, i'm really thinking Clippers will cover tonight.
4-1 last 5 meetings
5-1 on the road

AshyLarryMP 36-34-2:

OKC Thunder -9.5

ORL Magic +10.5

OVER 215.5 OKC Thunder - DEN Nuggets

feel this thunder game will be very fast paced.. (duh).. but with nuggets playing OT last night tired legs wont be able to keep up with a rested thunder team and nuggets still under .500 on road this season.. i got thunder winning this one 116-105.

and magic i agree with irempel's post on this one.. pacers on their 4th game in 5 nights and magic haven't been getting blown out on the road lately.. we'll look for the pacers to cruise and save their legs to an easy, no blowout victory..

best of luck men! little time to cap getting my wisdom teeth pulled today, wish me luck.

Jpaco 27-24

Over 194 IND Pacers - ORL Magic

orl will be running againts ind knowing its their 4th game in 5 days but i still have a feeling ind can blow orl out and orl will just get the garbage baskets

Over 208 MIL Bucks - POR Blazers

same reasoning mil ofcourse will be running againts this blazers and por can keep up the scoring

OKC Thunder -9.5

$ on DEN and line still going up? okc will be hungry to smoke this den since they lost twice on a close game in den.

Musicmatt1  30-37-1

ORL Magic +12

DEN Nuggets +9.5

Under 216 OKC Thunder - DEN Nuggets

Pacers have not won back to back games in like 3 weeks.  Today they are playing their 4th in 5.  Although I think they win, I do not think they cover the points.  The Magic has had a lot of rest in the past week and I think they keep up.

·          Magic are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games.

·          Magic are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

·          Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.

I see this game as a playoff battle.  I do not see the Nuggets being tired at all as they played Friday in Denver before last night's game in Chicago.  I believe the Nuggets turning it off in the 4th Quarter can be attributed to maybe looking ahead for this game.  The Nuggets do not play again until Thursday in Philly and should want to continue their winning streak that has been overshadowed by the Heat.  I do not think the Thunder will want to run with the Nuggets.  They are rested and should be focused enough to lock down the defensive side.  I see this one coming down to the last basket, and the 4th Quarter being slowed by the use of the shot clock.

·         Nuggets are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

·         Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

These are not strong trends but:

·         Nuggets are 5-2-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

·         Under is 9-4-1 in the last 14 meetings.

Hate to be against the consensus picks here, and especially JPaco who has been on fire recently (Anyone else notice he didn't play the Heat last night?  Should have been a dead give away!)

I just see this game in Oklahoma City playing out differently....

Either way, best of luck tonight gentlemen and great handicapping!

OKC Thunder -9

Under 212 SAC Kings - LA Clippers

i dont beleive ther is any way okc should be favored by 9. denver is on a 12 game win streak. i see this line in more of a 3-5 point spread. more bets are on denver than okc because who wouldnt take a streaking team +9. denver played a lonig game last night and could be tired tonight. but denver has beat okc 2 of 3 times this year. so why suck a high spread.  in my opinion it is because it is a game that the public will take denver for the most part. it is on nba tv which many bettors bet on just to watch and i feel vegas wins like they always do and okc blows out denver...could be wrong but well see.

clippers/ sac previous 2 matchups this year were 197 and 182 so ill ride that for this one

He has been on fire no doubt but no one and I mean no one that picked the Celtics can say they knew that Green was going to get them much much Green

We should all analyze games before and after as phixer, mavin and I, as well as others have pointed out it is not just important to win the games but to see if you reasoning is why they won or if they won by unpredictable events. I had ML on most of my Picks for Heat and -2 so I did ok and It was because of what I said King James' world and we just live in it.

If I would have said they would win/cover because Battier was going to hit 10 3pt shoots and Allen 10 3pt shots I would be wrong and would need to reconsider my analysis and my system.

Same thing with Denver I stated they will lose or not cover only if they themselves or the Bulls slow the game down and intensity drops. I made my bet knowing this was a possibility and hoped it did not come to that. I learned a lot from the games last night and you can't put a price on that. I ended the day up so it was FREE schooling for me.

I learned looking forward that the Heat and Nuggets know how to close out games so it pays when they have low MLs. The Nuggets showed this against OKC and against Bulls. The Celtics showed they can't close games out. I know the Heat are playing like the Martians of the Michael Jordan movie but if you are up by 17 and later by 13 you should learn clock management and not think that because you shot like 68% in the 1H it will continue to go that way the whole game. This should have not even been a contest if the Heat had played better D against Green. I think that if Garnet would have played they would have lost by about 15 pts or more. Green will not have another game like he did last nite at least not against a top tier team.

As for the Lakers as stated before I am done with backing them and Really do hope they get into the playoffs as it should make for easy pickings with or without Kobe. Their problem last night was not Kobe it was poor clock management and play calling- everything was a 3pt attempt and they were wearing cements boots on the defensive board side just no hops. I picked them thinking momentum and the Jazz breathing down their necks would create intensity but it did not work that way now I know they can't just rely on motivation factor they need more time to get their act together, they have skills but no chemistry or a decent game plan that states their identity.

Orlando didnt score a point from 5:07 left in the 1st quarter and a 12-7 lead to end the 1st 12-19. Tobias Harris is a real fishy player if you look at the box score...

Marvin can track my record for me.
This will be my actual post.

Since 2011 clippers and kings have gone over the total one time and over/under was set at 200.5. Push twice and have gone under three times. So my play for today is:

Play : under clippers 211.5

20 minutes, eh? That's closer than Whitecastle!  I heard King James had sweet mash from the market last night for pre game.

LA Clippers -9.5

Sacramento has the worst defense in the whole league... I see LA going off on a highlight reel dunk fest tonight... Should be a 15-20 point victory.

Agreed! I think Green also pushed it Over. My belief he would fold in the end made me confident to press the Miami PK at the end to profit. Looking back at it, the 4th quarter Under would have been a good bet with that thought process. I think it was set at 52.
