#7476 Posted: 3/2/2013 9:57:40 AM I see some of u mentioning creating your own lines ( turbovtk, cp74).I was wondering how u make your own lines?
This should be your first step, because u can spot value when true and fair lines are not the same. |

Gonna take the Nets. 4-0 last 4 meetings in Chicago. Underdog 7-3 ats last 10 meetings. Road team 4-0 last 4 meetings. Bulls a little banged up and have only won 5 out of thier last 13. Nets 14-12 on the road. Taking the over in the wolves/blazers game. 2 of the 3 refs are prone to the over and one is a push in this totals range. Over is 4-0-1 last 5 in Portland. 9-1-1 over in last 11 meetings. I think it will be more competitive than the spread indicates. BOL!
BRK Nets +5
Over 197.5 MIN Timberwolves-POR Trailblazers

1st home team gets 3, then I look at peer rankings, then H vs A record, then the situation ( rest vs back to back and play off implications for instance) So for example last night in Boston Boston -3 cuz at home Boston - 1 1/2 PR Boston - 1 H vs A record Boston - 1 1/2 Situation ( Boston doesn't want to slip to 8th and they are the rested team) So I had the line at BOS -6 1/2 to -7. After this short synopsis I check the posted line and if it is off by 1 1/2 - 2 pts I then will use trends and stats to justify either for or against. Totals are more tricky as I don't set a 'personal' line for those.I look at trends and stats like pace rating and such and don't worry about the number so much and just go with what the recent trends and stats tell me. Or I'll tail Phixer. Lol. Forgot I had tailed Phixer on that crazy total line move in OKC. So I was a made free throw from from 6-0 Good job again crew! |

BK Nets +5
pretty much the same reasoning as Big Unit
-Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win
-Bulls are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record
-Bulls are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a SU win of more than 10 points
-Bulls are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win
-Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games
-Nets are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Chicago
PHI 76er's -1
following the RLM here, what better way to break a losing streak than to face another team on a losing streak.
-76ers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points
-76ers are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss
-76ers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record
-Warriors are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss
-Warriors are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss
-Warriors are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record
-Warriors are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 road games
-Warriors are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Philadelphia
-Warriors are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings |

#7486 Posted: 3/2/2013 11:21:49 AM Plays today are
PHI 76ers pk
this line opened at +1 and is now at -1 some places. the public is 69 % ( 745 - 342 ) on the warriors as far as covers says and the experts are 7-1 on the warriors. that would normally cause a the sixers to become a bigger underdog but were getting some RLM action here which is one of my favorite handicapping styles. vegas wants people to take the warriors because it seems like the obvious play when you take sixers(22-34) against a warriors team (33-25) and give points to the suposed obvious play(warriors). this is also the warriors 5th road game in 7 days while the sixers are returning home today after a 1 game trip to chicago where they lost. i love betting against the public and on RLM game.
second play is MIL bucks -5
the bucks have won the past 4 meetings by 6 or more points every time and 3 of those games were in toronto. bucks are comming off of 2 days rest and torontos last road game they lost to cleavland by 11 and the bucks are a better team than cleavland. i beleive the bucks win by double didgits but as long as they cover im happy
good luck everyone

Under 200 TOR Raptors - MIL Bucks
Under 177.5 BRO Nets - CHI Bulls
Reasoning
Milwaukee games at home against defensive oriented teams have struggled to get over 190. I believe the line makers are thinking that there will be a lot of fouling at the end of the game as it is such a big game for both teams. Toronto has been struggling to put 90 points on the board against all opponents lately and they should know that if they get into a track meet with Milwaukee they will most certainly lose. In an effort to keep things under control Toronto should try to keep a controlled pace. I have this game between 185-190 total points.
Chicago plays great defense at home and Brooklyn is known to play decent defense as well. They both are struggling offensively. I have the game at 170 points and would not be surprised to see it even lower than that.
Good luck all! |

Lank66 has convinced me. Chicago is horrid at home this year. And Brooklyn has come back down to earth since the coaching change.

Over 198 POR Trailblazers MIN Timber
The Trailblazers are 4-0 to the over in their last 4 Saturday home games. 6-1 in last 7 games. They do their best to put on a show for the Saturday night home crowd.

#7500 Posted: 3/2/2013 2:11:27 PM Careful today. After a great showing always comes a Vegas day and be careful not to send the money back today. If you're not sure about some plays a or don't like them - do not force them |
