3-2 yesterday, but it was damn close to being a perfect night. Wizards were playing great early on against the Lakers, but just couldn't sustain it...Thunder were up by 20 for most of the game, then took it easy in the 4th quarter and let the Kings back into the game. Still a profitable night...gonna keep it going tonight.

That OKC was a piss off. I.Thomas was lighting it up, but if OKC went back to their starters even one minute earlier it would have covered.
GL tonight! |

#6 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:32:50 PM Boston Celtics +10 (2.2 to win 2)
Just a few too many points being given up in this one. The Celtics have generally struggled on B2B games, but are doing reasonably well this season at 3-3. The Celtics have also been very up and down so logic tells me that after last night's stinker against the Rockets, they will come out tonight and play much better on both ends of the court. Spurs stumbled a little bit on the last couple games of their road trip, and have to travel out to OKC for a big showdown on Monday night. Do enough to win type of game is what it seems like to me. Also like the under, but not enough to put a play on it.
Prediction: Spurs 102 Celtics 96

#8 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:40:59 PM Cleveland Cavaliers +11 (1.1 to win 1)
Going against the Double Digit Favorites trend once again here as the trends have been turning around this week. No Carmelo in this one, and I just don't see enough offense for the Knicks going up against a decent defensive team now that Irving is back. Knicks thrive on the ability to spread out the floor knowing that Melo can either go one on one and dominate or get double teamed and kick it out for a wide open 3.
Prediction: Knicks 96 Cavaliers 92

#11 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:47:37 PM Washington vs. Miami OVER 196 (2.2 to win 2)
This one should sail over the 200 mark. The Wizards routinely give up 100+ points against quality opponents as well as giving up a decent amount of points on the 2nd night of a back to back. Revenge game for the Heat in this one after being embarassed against the Wizards in their last meeting. Maybe a little bit of motivation in this one...but I also see this one being like the Thunder/Kings game last night...get up to a huge lead and then rest the starters and cruise to a win.
Prediction: Heat 111 Wizards 95

#15 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:57:56 PM Dallas Mavericks +4.5 (1.1 to win 1)
I'm going to trust that Rick Carlisle is going to have his guys a little more focused than what they were last night against the Raptors. Losing by 21 points to a team without their big stars is pretty bad...but with Love hurting and possibly not playing tonight, I'm going to jump on the points and say the Mavs get a good solid win. 0-13 from 3 will have to improve, 1-8 from Vince Carter will have to improve, and only grabbing 4 offensive rebounds will have to improve.
Prediction: Mavericks 97 Wolves 94

#17 Posted: 12/15/2012 2:02:03 PM I'm leaning with you towards Celtics and Over in the Miami game.
What do you think about the Brooklyn vs. Chicago game tonight? I'm leaning towards Brooklyn at +5.5. I just can't see Chicago winning by more.
As always, thanks for all your thoughts and leans. |

#22 Posted: 12/15/2012 2:53:57 PM We don't need excuses or your personal reasons about how you came close to winning those other two games. No offense but most NBA games are close until the end anyway. And I think if you stop paying so much attention to trends and stick to more recent stats, numbers and so forth you'd probably help yourself more and a lot of your followers. You seem to be very intellegent and may have more knowledge in this sport than myself. I'm just giving you some constructive criticism. Trends are 50/50 at best. If the strategy isn't working try something else. |
