Denver @ Detroit -4
This is a matchup of two teams going in opposite directions. Detroit is a team that has a nice combination of dual point guards in Knight and Stuckey which means they need to shoot lights out to be successful. They do have Prince who is a great on ball defender and situational scorer not a guy who can really create for himself. The best player is Monroe IMO he is a flat out beast but even the great ones cant do it all in the NBA.
Now the Nuggets are finally getting used to playing together in George Karl system as a team. Iguodala is a Big guard who will command full attention from this team along with taking away the 2 guard for detroit who has to guard him. Knight will be taken out because he will have his hands full with lawson and miller coming off the bench. Kenneth faried is a flat out hustler he plays great defense and hits the glass to offset prince's production. Also Prince will have to chase around the bigger Gallinari on the perimeter and allow him to be broken down off the dribble. Monroe should have a decent game not his season average because Denver is very physical and disruptive in there length over a smaller Center compared to Javale Mcgee. Look for Denver to have its way with this team in the second half and show there dominance. I expect the Nuggets to have a big road game tonight before finishing up tomorrow and heading back home.
