Everything went according to plan last night, I hit Golden State, 76ers, and Portland. I also said it was going to be one of those magical nights where all the favorites hit (should of taken them all lol) A lot of people thought I was crazy for taking Portland but the only crazy part about it was not cashing in for more!
Let's keep it rolling tonight!
Nuggets -5 - Love this play tonight. Pistons are on a back to back and I think the nuggets will be too fast for them.
Lakers -6 - The lakers definitely have their issues this year. Coming off a loss at home, I look for them to bounce back here. The Cavs do make games interesting and can usually hang but I think Kobe makes a statement tonight.
Knicks -3 - The Nets have trouble winning games lately and the reason is very simple. No Lopez. With Lopez out again tonight, the Knicks cover.
Leans
Clippers -2.5 - I just think the Clips have the better team here. Because the Bulls are home, I'd stay away but if I had to choose a side, Clippers all the way
Denver/Pistons over 203 - I'm always a fan of nuggets overs. They are such a young and fast team that you know the tone will be set for an over pace. It's just whether or not the shots fall. The only reason I'd stay away is because the pistons can put up 100 points or they can put up 80. You never really know what you're getting.

In all honesty you may not want Kobe to make a statement tonight, Lakers are 1-9 SU this year when he scores 30 or more points. 8-3 SU when he scores less than 30.

I don't back the lakers because they are the lakers. I called them losing to the jazz, not on here but with my friends when we talk about games and they thought I was crazy. Lakers have been a streaky team and based on their last couple of games, I think they beat the cavs by double digits. I give respect to the cavs and usually like them with points especially at home. Varejao is having a great year, Irving is back, but the lakers need this win and like i said, its one I see them winning by double digits.
This is why I like the forum, I don't expect everyone to agree and I like to see what people think so I appreciate the input. Sometimes I back down from my original thought but I already have it in and there is nothing I can do but wait and see what happens and on this particular game, I wouldn't change my mind anyway

I think the Lakers-6 is a toss up. For the past couple of days all the Lakers have heard about is how bad their defense is. They've heard about how they gave up a boat load of transition points to Utah. How their backcourt is not getting back on defense. So....with a days rest, what do you think they worked on in practice? That's right, DEFENSE. I see the Lakers putting forth a better defensive effort tonight. Under 203 is best play for this game.
As far as K. Irving, why would anyone expect him to step back in the lineup tonight and not be rusty. I dont really expect too much from his return. So, if i had to choose a side it would be Lakers -6.
