#1 Posted: 11/20/2012 1:55:24 AM having trouble sleeping so i'm gonna post my picks early
1-1 to start the week and 15-4 overall in real money picks!
i'm really excited for tomorrow's game because as mentioned on my post yesterday i'm 6 and 0 when Brooklyn and New York plays on the same day and twice hit trebles with them, so basically these teams have been money for me...
NY -6
a very good road team(3-1) against a mediocre team at home NO(2-3). New York won their last game after suffering their first loss at Memphis last Friday and will try to build another winning streak while NO is on a funk right now losing it's last three. NO will make it interesting but NY will win and cover.
Prediction: NY 104-91
BRK +6.5
LAL has been on a tear lately winning 4 of their last 5 games after starting the year 1-4, they dismantled their last two opponents by an average margin of 11.5 points. HOT right? definitely, but no team has been hotter that the Nets right now winning their last 5 games (memphis lost today ending their 8 game winning streak). I think Lakers will pull it off but can't cover, there might also be a potential steal win here by Brooklyn.
Prediction: LAL 103 - 100
3 team trebles NY -6 BRK +6.5 PHI -5
over/unders!!! tor/phi over 182 ny/no over 189.5 brk/lal under 208.5 (way too high, i honestly think the lakers can't score 110 plus pts against the nets) fact: nets average pts allowed this season is 92.5
GOODLUCK everyone!!!

#10 Posted: 11/20/2012 5:38:41 AM What's Brooklyn's 5 game hot streak got to do with winning covering +6.5 points tomorrow against the Lakers? I've said this before in my recent post, All of Brooklyn's wins have come off of below .500 teams, excluding Boston's game where Rondo DND due to his ankle injury.
You said it yourself, under new management, the Lakers have been able to win games by an average of 11.5 points. With the lakers at .500, at staples center with the likely appearance of coach D'antoni, the Lakers are going to go full power and leave LA with a bang.
I believe the Lakers win by at least 9 points.

lol who are you grouping me with? since when was I considered a Laker groupie? Where them LG's at?! all you bro.
And what's with all this rage and caps.. cause you seem pissed the hell off. Just stating what I think, maybe wasn't a good idea to comment on someone's post who's pick is different than mine, but just reading his explanation didn't seem legit enough for me. Saying that you're choosing Brooklyn to cover because they're on a HOTTER win streak than the Lakers are just don't cut it. But damn calm your tits.
You're right tho, Laker's haven't won games against great teams, in fact most not above .500, but if you've watched Brooklyn's past few games and the Laker's, you'd see that Brooklyn's cooling off and the Lakers are just starting to heat up under the new management of D'antoni.
The setting of the game alone screams for a Lakers blowout, just saying. It all comes down to the 4th quarter (obviously), but my point is that Brooklyns gonna choke toward the end of the game where the Lakers will pull away. I'm pretty confident that's what's going to happen. |

i'm leaning with the 76ers on this one...the raptors has been a bad road team so far winning 1 game out of 5 games on the road...lowry and fields still out too. I can see the sixers winning this one and covering. |

if you read and understood my post i said that i think the Lakers will win but since Brooklyn is playing so well, the plus +6 will be the determining factor in this game. I don"t see the Lakers winning with that big of a margin(9 or up) against a team like Brooklyn. Yes. Lakers is an elite team no question just not right now, atleast not yet. I guess we'll have to wait for tomorrow and see for ourselves. BOL |

#16 Posted: 11/20/2012 6:41:59 AM Having D'antoni in Lakers doesn't mean that they have to win Big Time Right away but I'm not saying they will not win against Brooklyn. Lakers has been not so good from the start . We can't say that Lakers are consistent in having a win. The fire is up with Brooklyn and for Lakers its just starting to heat up... Lets see how it goes tomorrow.
BOL everyone..Just enjoy Betting "win or lose"
