Harden has cooled down quite a bit, Lin has just been average at best and completely air-balled a three the other night which would have given them the tie. I just don't trust the Rockets in this situation. If you throw out the horrendous game against the 76ers the Hornets have kept every game close if not won, and the game against Philly was without Davis. Also if you look at trends meanwhile Hornets have a pretty solid reputation against the Rockets. New Orleans should at least be able to keep this came close if not come out with a win in the end.

Hornets +6 1/2 (-110)
Risking $23.80 (10% of $238.02) to win $21.64

Good luck tonight Gentlemen on whatever you decide to play

Adding...

Charlotte +6 1/2 (-110)
There is no way Minnesota should be this high of a favorite at home with Pekovic, Roy and Barea out. They only have 9 people on the roster for tonights game. I get that the Bobcats played last night but looking for them to continue to roll. I'll take my chances with Charlotte, they'll have the deeper team tonight anyways..

Risking $21.64 to win $19.67

Starting Balance $200
Current Balance $279.33

YTD Record (4-0)

Hornets +6 1/2 (-110)
What an absolute roller coaster of a game!!!

Charlotte +6 1/2 (-110)
Still amazed at how high that line was considering Minnesota was without that many players.

This is the part of the strategy that sucks... Get 4 wins and take the rest of the week off, tough when you are on a little streak but hey! gotta stay disciplined. May consider a college football game on Saturday that I'll post on this thread, theres one a home dog that I have my eye on that very well could win outright...

Anyways fellas thanks for all the support so far I'll be lurking around the rest of the week but wont play anything.

Stay smart gentlemen.

Galbino, thanks bud! The strategy that I am doing is all about discipline, and once you get 4 wins in a week then you automatically made money that week so I am going to lay off for the rest of the week. As far as tonight's game goes nothing really jumps out at me, like to sit back and be a fan on these days especially since they are on TNT. Good luck if you decided to play anything tonight though.

CappaCapp thanks!

Like I said in a previous post ill be around this week if you guys want some insight and bounce some ideas around that's what this site is all about. But I'll be back on Saturday for a college football play.

Good luck tonight fellas!

Stay smart

Thanks man,  I sprinkled a little coin on Knicks +6 for today. But looking forward to your college picks this week. Even though I'm only up 38$. Discipline is key. And I value your opinion. Much appreciated.

Rana

Galbino - Thanks buddy, appreciate the kind words. Didn't look into the Spurs / Knicks game to much today, but I hope it hits for you my friend I'll be cheerin for ya. Appears to be a ton of people on the Spurs tonight so you have that going for ya, should be a good game! Discipline is huge man, the way I see it.. I made $79 this week sitting on the couch watching sports, does it get any better than that? Its hard not to get greedy too when your on a streak. It happens all the time you go 3-0 and then bet huge on your 4th and end up losing then your trying to get back to even and before you know it your account's nearly wiped out. Sometimes when your hot you think you can win every game and get burned, for me its a good time to take a deep breath and watch some games as a fan for a bit and then hop back on the wagon next week. I totally get that people want the entertainment of watching a game or two here with money on the line. If your doing it for entertainment though don't but a lot on the game, just my 2 cents.
Anyway good luck to ya tonight bud, I'll be a Knicks fan for ya tonight

this is good, nice and fresh, great money management even though I think the bets should be more like 3-4% but you're not starting with that much so it's all good, keep it up buddy

Everest  yeah 10% is high but like you said its not a whole lot to begin with and its what I'm comfortable doing. I had a similar strategy for baseball and did it will 5% which some would still say that it is high but I was okay with it. Bet what you can afford or are comfortable to lose and you'll be able to sleep at night. Thanks for the input buddy!

Yea thanks man, took a gamble on Knicks ML @ (+200), only bet last night profits so it worked out.

Smartmoney - Couldn't agree with you more, you HAVE to sit back and watch some games with no money on it. Cause sometimes the teams that you think suck or are horrible. Actually are not that bad.And put up a decent showing. For example tonight. Miami with no wade coming over a bunch of road games and playing b2b. Denver looked good at -2.5. I didn't play this game and watched. You[ would think heat would have no energy. But these are pro athletes. The best of the Best. Gotta respect that.

Alright fellas I know this isn't an NBA pick but I figured I would post in here anyways to keep this thread going.

First things first, thanks for all the support thus far, but just as a heads up because I went 4-0 doesn't mean I'm gonna go 5-0 so don't go huge on any one bet and we'll do just fine together. The objective is to win more than we lose and we'll be profitable.

That being said I have had my eye on this game for a while the play is going to be...

Kansas +6 (-110)

I decided to post this early because the line is dropping like a fly, it started at +7 in some places and just checked this morning at it is at +5, which I still think would be a fairly safe play. Now I'll come out and say it I have strong ties to Iowa State and have seen every game this year so far. But the reason that I like the Jayhawks in this situation is because of how strong they have been lately and flew under the radar. Three weeks ago at home they nearly knocked off Texas, came back the next week and had a stinker against Baylor on the road, then last week they were on the road at Texas Tech and took them to overtime and damn near won that one too. Iowa State on the other hand hasn't really been relevant ever since losing Knott to his shoulder injury. The run defense has struggled significantly since his absence and last week alone they gave up 225 on the ground to Texas, this is big because Kansas can and will run the ball successfully. Iowa State in my opinion has one of the worst if not worst offenses in the Big 12, against Baylor in a game that they won; the Cyclones receivers had 10 drops in the first quarter alone. KU doesn't have a great defense but they are good enough to keep Jantz in check. Some things that ISU has going for them that KU doesn't is they are still playing for a potential bowl game whereas the Jayhawks are playing for pride and their seniors on senior day. Iowa State knows this and doesn't want to have to go back to Jack Trice relying on beating West Virginia in order to go bowling. Paul Rhoads (Iowa State coach) meanwhile is 11-2 as a head coach when they are the favorites, so that is something to keep in mind. However, these teams are much more evenly matched then their records indicate. I honestly thought this line would be closer to +3 or +2. Kansas very well could pull off the win in this one and it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Risking $27.93 (10% of $279.33) to win $25.39

Whether you decide to tail, fade, or stay away good luck to ya and stay smart out there.
