will just be waiting for the official lines from my local book but i'll be goin with these teams provided the lines dont fluctuate that much...

boston+8

first, its way too big of a line.. then boston will be eager to prove to allen that he made the wrong move.. boston made excellent improvements on the off season with terry, green, lee, sullinger, darko and etc.. boston way too deep  and miami is mainly a perimeter based offense.. boston lost on the ECF IMO largely in part to too many injuries... bradley being out was a huge blow cos he is their best perimeter defender... with green and lee... they got it covered now... finally, the ring ceremony has been bad for the champs...

no wall and nene and seraphin is hurt annd might be out... aj price will be starting and will be trying to contain kyrie all night which will be a one sided affair IMO... also, varejao return andwill be joind by waiters, alonzo gee which is underrated and possibly cj miles... tristan thompson has been a beast last year asbwell when varejao went down... okafor and ariza are washed out IMO and will be relying on crawford only tomorrow... cleveland laying this small of a chalk is a good value IMO

dirk is out nbut crowder hasbeen a pleasant surprise...public will be all over the lakers and there will be aheavy  yankee tax when taking the lakers... besides they might have the worse coach in the entire league... cant see him handle all the ego and pride in this star studded team... dallas also has brand and kaman to bang down low, and they will be featuring a not too shabby mayo and collison backcourt...the lakers just havent gelled yet...  BOL

I agree for Boston, the can win this game ... lebron james is not sure to play tomorow ... he probable but we have no confirmation

Cleveland is a little risky there

Dallas im not sure ... i dont know so much this team ... but lakers haved a horrible pre season ... who still injury for lakers ?

no kobe bro... he in so much pain.. the wont hurry him back coz they have a lot of players in their reg rotation... appreciate the opinion thou bro... thats why i made a thread.. kaman, crowder and wright will play... lakers lack a shooter to free out space down low with kobe out... lakers wins but i dont think theyl cover the HUGE spread.... check out crowder bro... 6"3 pf who shoots 3s..

I would be careful with dallas... Lakers havent shown what they are capable of during the preseason. I live near dallas and this team isnt what this city is used to. Brand and Kaman are gona strugle until Dirk comes back. If Mayo cant hit his jumper and Dallas doesnt get points off of TO's this will be a long game for them. Agree about Crowder this kid will be player. It's a step towards Cuban getting ready to rebuild this team!

com'on kobe has played through worst before. do not make ur decision based on that. u seem to be strong on crowder kid. i dont blame u. hes a good prospect, but like million of prospects weve seen(remember oden) he is still a prospect so dont have him too high especially against gasol, howard, hill and a feeder like nash. you see crowder wont help u here. kaman may be out(he will help here), it leaves mavs frontcourt thin. brand does not have speed, hip movement, draw off. fouls, etc. kaman is much more physical and they need him. lakers will pound the paint which translates into mavs bigs in foul trouble and easy pts to avoid it. wright(their best shooter) will have a tough time against mwp, mayo HAS to have huge game kobe in or out(his problem is hes weak on big games like this, his stats prove it but has good record at staples), and collison will be consistent here. lakers have the recipe to win by DD here. no mavs bigs here to contest, shut down mavs best shooter(wright), marion will be too busy guarding kobe and hes no off. threat, carter is inconsistent, kobe to shut down mayo, and lakers only issue is speed to stop collison and their bench. gl

great points fellas... i agree with both of u... il just bet small on dallas but wont take lal...not basing the play on the preseason.. first game of the season, so its mostly gut feel esp on dal/lal... lal for some reason doesnt blow ojt teams that they shoul... letting them intentionally cover the spread perhaps?? but thanks guys..

i just dont get it why philly is highly regarded even with bynum out.. contrary to popular belief... phi downgraded during the off season esp if bynum is out... they lost iggy and lou will and brand.. can lavoy allen and hawes match the intensity of manimal? or the three headed center of denver?? how about galo and lawson? im not too high on turner and thad young .. would they start on the elite teams' lineup? i dont think so...
