It seems to me that if your team is not on the top 5 picks, it's virtually a useless pick and they just trade it away to get players. Nets will not have any draft picks if they get DHoward. NYKnicks seem to be throwing away their draft picks every year to get someone.

More and more freshman players are coming out from college and into the NBA. Are teams actually drafting 18-19 year old players so they could mold them to be NBA ready when they reach 21? Wat is going on?
