#6 Posted: 5/28/2012 1:03:08 AM No way in a bajillion years Boston wins. Their going 3-1 against Miami the regular season was all smoke and mirrors, absolute flukes: those results mean nothing, zilch, zippo, nada. |

#7 Posted: 5/28/2012 1:07:10 AM For hedging it takes me to the question of the day, HOW MUCH? lol
My book has BOS @ +410 ... I really doubt they can do this, but it wouldn't hurt to hedge a little bit at least...

#8 Posted: 5/28/2012 1:07:54 AM i disagree i think boston has a slight chance to win series, but rondo will have to dominate. avery bradley bein out is huge becuz he can slow wade down and im sure doc will have a nice game plan against miami he will try an make miamis role players step up. I expect kg and rondo to dominate. last year miami won 4-1 but it was a close series rondo missed a layup that woulda put celts up 2-1 and then dislocated elbow and that was series. alsoo bosh last year outplayed kg with no bosh kg will have his way. pierce always plays his best against lebron |

#9 Posted: 5/28/2012 1:13:24 AM I just think that Cs might not win the series but the odds itself are too huge for a +8, if they have a better chance of winning or atleast even getting close with the Heat it is now that Bosh is out of the picture.

while I agree that this is most likely true, all it takes is one torn ACL to Wade or James like what happened to Rose and MIA is done. Simply not a deep enough team outside of the big 2 or 3. If they stay healthy then yes, Heat win in 5 or 6 but there is ALWAYS chance. Nobody would have thought Philly would beat the Bulls that is until Rose went down. BOL

#15 Posted: 5/28/2012 4:38:51 AM Yes, Boston has a chance.
Bosh is already out with the abdominal strain.
Boston is one Wade or LeBron injury from beating them.
Injuries can happen at any time and swing a series... |

#16 Posted: 5/28/2012 4:41:47 AM if rondo and KG play well consistently, the celtics could win this series, no need for any injuries to miami. |

Exactly. Derrick Rose and the Bulls are Exhibit A.

#19 Posted: 5/28/2012 8:58:51 AM Have you seen the BIG commercials that feature the Celtics as they are about to come to the court
Heart, Grit, Experience, Chemistry, Strength, Purpose, Committment...etc..etc..etc..
Celtics are tough......and when the chips are down and the stage is tough...they play....BIG
So of course they have a chance |

those commercials are designed to sell a dud team on recreational bettors who can't smell a rat to save their lives. |

#24 Posted: 5/29/2012 9:21:56 AM Boston has little chance to none, unless Heat have injuries to key players.
We all saw 8 pt spread was not to much in game 1 and we'll see soon enough it won't be large enough in game 2 as the Heat roll again. |
