#27 Posted: 5/27/2012 2:15:59 AM monday is an awful spot for my celts they have got to be drained from this series. im gonna take solace in the fact that even if the heat move on there aint a shot in hell they beat the spurs. |

Heat will demolish them in this series. ... MUSH...

You can't possibly be serious? Just going to have to chalk this up to you being a Heat hater for god knows what reason. The Celtics do play a good team game and are capable of making a stand. But when that stand involves having to get past the league MVP who is still bitter about the times Boston got in his way, and D-Wade regaining his Superstar form, resistance will be futile at best.
Miami has one of the best team defenses in the game and is one of the most efficient teams offensively. With Bosh out, this team is hurt. However, they have enough to send Boston to their offseason. At some point, Miami's shooters will warm up. Miller, Battier, Chalmers, and possibly Jones will chip in when it counts. Haslem will return and contribute. |

#37 Posted: 5/27/2012 10:58:50 AM TEAM FULL OF SCRUBS (YOU ALSO FORGOT OLD behind JUWAN HOWARD AND FAT BOY ED CURRY) ... ALL THOSE DUDES JUMPED ON SO THEY COULD RIDE LeBRICKS COCK TO A CHAMPIONSHIP... JUST LIKE LeBRICKS HANGING ON TO WADES NUTSACK SO HE COULD WIN A RING... OH AND YOU DONT THINK THE CELTICS ARE BITTER ABOUT LOSING LAST YEAR TO THE HEAT, AND RONDO PLAYING WITH A DISLOCATED ELBOW LAST YEAR ?

#39 Posted: 5/27/2012 11:54:56 AM Miami is a big favorite. Of course they'll win the series. Not like this is a genius pick or anything. |

#41 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:11:24 PM I got -600 heat/+350 celtics, with a handicapp line of heat -2.5 games @ + 105. i was hoping for heat in 6 or better at close to pick'em, but the heat in 5 is spot on as a 50/50 proposition |

#43 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:26:15 PM I agree that the Celtics most likely will not beat the Heat 4 times. But then again, to put your life savings on the Heat to win is ridiculous. Put in a large play or triple down your normal play, but so go All-in would not be wise.
The Heat are 2-deep now. You would be one LeBron/Wade injury away from losing your life savings. Same can be said for the Celtics, injuries can happen anytime. |

#44 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:32:12 PM I agree heat will win but I won't put any life savings on it it's the MBA where "amazing" happens the one game Boston won was when rondo was playing with one arm. The other 4 they lost convincingly was when he was healthy go figure |

#45 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:38:44 PM The Heat will get the first win of the series at home tomorrow night, and it will be all uphill from there for the tired Celtics.
This is as sure a series bet as we'll see until next year.
BOL to all. |

#46 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:43:50 PM The reason you don't put life savings on a series bet is because what if Lebron and Dwade got injured? |

#48 Posted: 5/27/2012 1:00:48 PM i think the heat were better last year than they are right now,
and i think boston having rondo this year after he missed a few games in the series last year, is a big big difference,
remember, all but one of the five games last year was very close.

a 7 game NBA series is fluke-free my friends. No flukes like in baseball or hockey. Heat all the way.
look man, i hate the celtics but i have to say you are way too confidence.
fluke free? tell the chicago bulls that after d-rose went down. lebron is a tank, but wade could easily go down with injury and then boston has this.
last year, the heat were a better overall team, imo, and that's why they won it in 5 games, but 5 of those games were really close, even though rondo was out 1 or 2 games if i remember.
even though not having bradley really kills them, having rondo healthy is huge

#50 Posted: 5/27/2012 1:19:37 PM Celtic people cmon...How many teams do the HEAT have to beat for you all to understand that them two guy's together are better than any team from the east right now.I really don't want to hear about RONDO who is not a scoring option..loves to play HOT DOG basketball...and if not for the 2 HUGE 3's at the end of game 7 was actually a liability with his turnover's...in game 7 Rondo refuses to penetrate when there are wide open lanes to the basket and when he does 70 % of the time he makes a BAD UNNECESSARY PASS or misses the shot alltogether. Celtic's OFFENSIVE DROUGHT"S will be a HUGE problem for them.. How many pt's you think the Heat will score when Boston goes through a 5 min scoring drought...the Heat aren't the Sixer's who can't score!!!! Wade and James can both create they're own point's.... Van Gundy was the only guy last night that said at the end of the game he was gonna be politcally correct about Rondo's game play.. but also stated I fully expect the Heat to Handley Beat Boston....as do I!!!!
YOU KNOW WHAT CHANCE THE CELTIC'S HAVE?....NO CHANCE!!! |
