GL GL.
I was about to be pretty pissed, going through 3 pages of this thread without a single person bringing this up.
Thank you.

That is the value I was talking about. Still playing them game by game, but there is no way I see Denver being above +200 Saturday after a win like that. They have the momentum in this series now and proved how they can win the battle in the paint. McGee couldn't have had much of a quieter game - but Pau Gasol could only match that himself with an even worse performance. Sure people will say Ty got hot, but if anybody has read my scouting reports on Ty - you would know he is like a Tony Parker in development (and when he has confidence, he could very well be one of the best guards in the league) |

#57 Posted: 5/11/2012 1:22:15 AM That flagrant on Faried by Kobe really got Denver fired up I believe as well. Anybody else but Kobe commits that and they are ejected. |

#58 Posted: 5/11/2012 1:23:08 AM Shooting 5/21 in the paint for LA is absolutely atrocious considering their talent. |

#59 Posted: 5/11/2012 1:24:32 AM wished i put 5-6 units on this yesterday. I was pretty confident in nuggets winning today . That wouldve been a nice hedge to get some major coin |

I would never place that looking to hedge it in the future. Don't chop into your winnings even if you think you are taking guaranteed money. Keep it simple. Take a certain amount place it on futures, take the rest and play it game by game. Don't mess with your future bets. Let them ride. I have actually gone through and looked at the records of some of the times I have hedged and more often than not I am on the winning side originally (why else would I place the bet to begin with). Keep profits at a max. Books give you the option to hedge on purpose. |

Like I said, anybody else but Kobe.
There is a lot of animosity and hatred towards this LA team and that is part of the reason LA is playing like such pusses. They cannot exact those same kinds of emotions, for one Bynum and Gasol are very strangely emotional. As for Kobe, its all about the superstar treatment. The guy will work the refs regardless, but this is possibly the reason LA missed Phil Jackson the most. Nobody ever had more pull with refs than Jackson did in LA and Chicago. |

#63 Posted: 5/11/2012 1:59:20 AM Oh yeah, and Artest or Metta World Piss or whatever people call him - very laughable at some of the comments I hear about him shutting things down in Game 7. Seriously - people need to watch Lakers basketball, not look at the ESPN/Disney highlights. |

I had Javale McGee +2.5 pts + rebounds over Pau Gasol
Javale McGee - 7 total
Pau Gasol - 6 total
Totally not the way I envisioned that happening... but I'll take it either way lol |

Should have been ejected? Get real. Do you even know the rules? How do you judge what happened on 9/11 when you can't even see a simple NBA call according to the rules of the game. Obvious incidental contact to the head. Not even controversial. |

#66 Posted: 5/11/2012 2:03:58 AM Also had Ty Lawson Over 16.5 pts +110
I feel like that could have been one of the easiest wins all season long. He had 15 at the end of the 1st, and 19 at half. |

Yeah, we know the rules, superstars are pretty much incapable of getting tossed short of calling an official a happy slur... even then only a technical.
Anybody else... tossed. Barnes, Bynum, Gasol, Session if any of them did that - flagrant #2 and tossed. Go back and watch, absolutely no excuse whatsoever for Kobe doing that. It makes me really hate him as a player, as if the rapings weren't enough. |

#70 Posted: 5/11/2012 2:07:09 AM It's an absolute joke that people are gonna think Artest will make a difference in Game 7. They have to now re-integrate him into the most pressure filled environment? That should be fun to watch

I usually watch the Altitude postgame. I like Charles, but can't stand Shaq on there anymore. |

That's one of those ones where you dont know how you won, but you dont question and move forward and be happy to be on the right side of variance

#73 Posted: 5/11/2012 2:09:12 AM Kap, what are your thoughts on Game 7? Is it possible in your eyes - sensing a Lakers collapse?
Any thoughts on the Memphis series. I really think Memphis has stepped it up the past few quarters. CP3 and Blake flopping will only go so far. |

Are you freaking kidding? Kobe wound up and took a swing hard at the guys head, in the air, unprotected. That's an ejection.

McGee got foul trouble quick and couldn't produce much. He was able to grab a few boards, but when he was in the perimeter shooters were going off. Still had a ok game, just quiet on offense because of the fouls. But Gasol, I think that just proves that Denver CAN win this series. There is only small chance, even with Kobe scoring 50 that LA can win if Gasol and Bynum keep conceeding under the basket to the faster and more athletic Denver bigs. |
