#7 Posted: 5/9/2012 3:55:54 PM Why not play the ML then? +265 seems like tremendous value in a game that you think will be a blowout. |

#8 Posted: 5/9/2012 3:57:07 PM To all my friends sorry for the emo meltdown last night. As I said before it's not even about the money, i was just blown away by what happened.
Also this is not an official play because i will never lay 10 pts or more in a b-ball game, but I def lean w/ Miami -11 to roll in a blowout tonight, take it for what it's worth.

Haha I would love to see the numbers going into that calculation. I guess it would be an 18pt win if at home, despite winning the last 2 games by a combined 4 points... |

#13 Posted: 5/9/2012 4:09:52 PM also btw to those questioning my math and etc, the number of pts the clips won by in the previous games in the series has absolutely nothing to do with the number I got this capped at. When you play roulette in a casino it does not matter if the idiot screen says a certain number or color hit 10 times in a row, it is still the same identical odds for the next spin. Not to sound insulting but this is pretty basic stuff I don't see how someone would not realize that

#14 Posted: 5/9/2012 4:13:18 PM When Anthony picks a game he usually has the team winning by 15 points against the spread or over/uner number. |

Yes, and in the case of picking a game against the spread it's probably going to be fairly close to 50/50 as well. So suggesting the line is 14-18pts off is fairly preposterous...
It doesn't mean the Clippers can't win by 8-12, just like it's not impossible for a coin to land on heads 9 times in a row. But it certainly shouldn't be your expectation. |

#19 Posted: 5/9/2012 4:28:03 PM and the heads-tails stuff isnt so simple as 9 times in a row heads 10th time is 50-50....for that one isolated flip it is over the next x amount of flips its not |

OK this is not a challenge, however the law of averages say's that if you flip a coin 100 times it will be 50 heads and 50 tail's that being said every time you flip a head in seccession means your closer to a tail. Called A SHORT TERM TREND.My point, when I play Roulete and I see Blk came out let's say 5 times, based on law of averages it's in my favor Red will be next.of course there's tons of other intangibles however that general rule of thumb has been extremely sucessful for me...Remeber not a Challenge and it's how I play. Jus want to point out my opinion. |

#21 Posted: 5/9/2012 4:38:12 PM Daywalker is correct 9 tails in a row by no means gives you a 50-50 chance for heads....your odds for heads have increased based on this short term trend

Bad beat I don't think you were refferring to me. But the answer i presented is from a book. I'm not trying to start any garbage in here I'm cool with everybody and i hate negative Karma but if you do any research into the law of averages the coin flip experiment will be there, it's called a Short term trend and it's PHYSIC'S |
