Is +400 a good enough price in your guys' mind for this? I think they put ATL down in Game 5 and then should be able to beat Philly pretty easily while I anticipate that MIA might have some trouble with IND (i.e. 4-2 series win). With how BOS is playing right now, and given MIA's playoff shakiness, I wonder if getting 4-1 on Boston winning the East doesn't have some significant value?

Small play on it can't hurt...but Miami is going to be tough to beat for East.

C's are a tough match up for the Heat...

They have got in their heads this year..

No matter what the Heat have done, they just couldn't seem to beat the C's consistantly this year...

Don't like it Kap.  What do you think the series price will be if they play the Heat in the East Finals?  I don't think it's worth it.

I like it, last nights knicks vs heat game showed heats weakness. They can't close out a game! With how well rondo is playing I can see the celtics possibly taking the heat to game 7 of a series.

value in that ur better off waiting for them in the eastern conf finals vs the heat if that matchup happens the heat will be a 4 or 5 to 1 series fav so if u like boston to get to the finals just wait. getting them now at 4 to 1 is no value cause they are likely to face philly next rd and philly plays them tough i dont think that series will be a cake walkjust my opinion take it for what its worth

I played this as well b4 playoffs started I got it at +800...

Pretty much you are getting them 4/1 to beat the Heat which is good value right now....

Well said.  This pretty much ends this discussion.  All futures bets are juiced hard with a huge house edge anyway.

I don't think you are getting much value at +400 to make it worth locking in 3 weeks ahead of time.  The heat are already -400 to win the east right now.  The books are projecting a heat vs celtics east final and i anticipate an opening line of -500 heat VS +400 celtics (or better) just for that series.  In my humble opinion, you are better off waiting until the east finals actually start.  UNLESS you think there is a legitimate shot the heat lose to the pacers.

What that gamed showed was that the Heat arent worried enough about a kife Knicks team.  This not closing out garbage is getting a bit much, they will crush Knicks next game.

Kap, I will be a bit surprised if they struggle with Pacers much the Pacers remind of 76ers they can beat average or below average teams but cant see them getting 2 off heat.  Either way I agree waiting till Finals will must likely get you better odds.

That's a tough one Kap.  I would do +400 to get past Indiana.  LOL

I wonder if the payoff would be better, if you take Boston 100 against Indiana, then parlay it to get past Miami.

You guys really think that MIA would be higher than -400 in a series against Boston this year?

I like the idea that thatsagoodone brought up, you should make more money if you play Bos to win next series, then parlay those winnings into the Heat series bet.  I can see Boston being a +250ish in the Heat series.  Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide Kap.

PapaShango gave you the best answer... no point betting this now when they would probably be (+300) at the very worst heads up against the Heat in the finals...

you're better off waiting until the Hawks series is over, then making your bet against the 76ers (assuming they can finish off the Bulls, which is no guarantee), and rolling it over to the Heat... would be getting something closer to (+550) or better by doing it that way...

personally, i would be really surprised to see the Celtics beat the Heat, but that's another issue...

they don't need to be higher than -400 to make this a bad value bet... they would only need to be about -300 or maybe even less... don't forget there is another series to be played before the conf. finals...
