#1 Posted: 5/1/2012 8:12:30 AM He recently did an interview with hannah storm.Of course we can the championship he says laughing in his ever so cocky smug way. Listening to this guy talk makes me hate him more. He is still a little HS PUNK. He needs a good behind kicking or elbow to the mouth by kousta koufos. |

#5 Posted: 5/1/2012 10:10:44 AM stupid thread i mean wtf do you want the guy to say , no he doesn't think they have a chance ? and the way okc looks right now and the size advantage they have downlow against the spurs they do have a shot , the style the lakers play is what wins in the playoffs , im not saying they are the favorites i'd put them number 3 in the west but they have a legitiment shot . |

#6 Posted: 5/1/2012 10:13:51 AM Aren't you a Heat fan? You know, the team that celebrated before the friggin season even started? What were those 3 chumps saying in the video? We're gunna win like 8 titles?
At least Kobe can back up his talk. How about Lebron? How many titles does he have again? |

#7 Posted: 5/1/2012 11:29:00 AM Exacty! Get of Kobe's sack! The Lakers have basically been dismissed all year. Don't blame Kobe for being pissed feeling the Lakes are being underestimated by the talking heads and the haters. Appreciate Kobe for having his ships and holding this league down for a long time. Prince James has a long way to go before he can walk in Kobe's shoes. |

Bro Kobe Bryant was born in Philly but he is from a lot of places. His father repeatedly moved him around the states based on his career and ultimately moved him out the country. Yes he returned in the summers and played high school ball in Philly. But Kobe is not your typical home grown Philly player. That has a lot to do with him not really owning up to the home town hero title.

#12 Posted: 5/1/2012 12:49:42 PM I think Kobe is the best player is the league, YES HE IS BETTER THAN LEBRON. BUT i noticed he is starting to show way too much arrogance, seems like all he cares about is his 30+ shots a game. I see him take some of the most selfish, moronic shots someone could take. right now lebron probably is the better TEAM player, we've all seen his unselfishness that he actually got blasted for because the douchebag haslem missed the shot. If he made that shot the media woulda gave lebron so much credit for the assist but he missed so lebron got accused of choking. Dudes right......Kobe is becoming VERY arrogant |

#18 Posted: 5/1/2012 1:49:46 PM you know what? I love Kobe. I hate him doing interviews also, but his basketball skills are amazing and thats what matters the most and thats what he is paid for. Also, if someone in the league deserves to be arrogant, that will be Kobe. Agreed?

#21 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:02:34 PM Kobe is my least favorite basketball player in the NBA today. Kobe has no class and thinks he is still great jacking up all those shots like a ball hog he is. I agree with OP Kobe is trash and also a cry baby to.

#22 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:21:46 PM You switch Kobe's mentality with Lebron's and we have the new king of basketball with multiple rings.
But Lebron is a box cat, I do think he ain't a bad person outside basketball.
Kobe is a POS human being and I'd like to kick his behind myself.

#23 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:50:13 PM Every superstar talks this way. I love Kobe and I loved MJ. MJ was more smug and arrogant then maybe anyone in history. That's one of the things that made him great. Same for Kobe. Bill Rusell was the same way. Look at any sport. Except for a small few, all the greats are like that. The problem with Lebron is that he's not smug and arrogant enough. He tried to be with the we will win not 1, not 2, not 3 etc... Championships but as soon as there was negative feedback he tried to be everyone's best friend again instead of embracing being the Darth Vader of the NBA as Kobe has. As far as all the Philly talk, let's not forge Kobe went back to Philly in the All Star game and they booed him for no reason. The only thing he ever did was say in a newspaper article when he was 20 that given the choice he'd rather live in Los Angelo's then Philadelphia ( WELL NO garbage).. So that's a reason for people from Philly to not only boo him but send death threats to him and his father. When they played the 76ers in the finals he had to have his own secret service when in Philly as he was being threatened continuously. And he was what a 21 year old kid at that point. And now here we are in 2012 and he still holds kids camps in Philly every year. What a horrible guy. Do we all hate Jim Brown too? Because he was by far the most smug and arrogant athlete in the history of athletes. And as far as Philly goes with those type of guys they were full of them, from Mike Schimdt to Iverson to Desean Jackson to Chris Carter to Eric Lindros to Ron Hextall to Lenny Dykstra to Curt Schilling and the list goes on and on. Oh BUDDY RYAN, LMFAO. Alot of it is about how much national attention a guy gets too. I.E. I am a Suns fan. Around the league Steve Nash has a reputation as being non smug or arrogant when that could not be farther from the truth. Everything Kobe says and does is broadcasted worldwide instantly these days. Of course he's gonna say something once in a while that someone isn't gonna agree with. We all would. But to the guy who started this thread, you obviously just don't like Kobe PEROID, so your just looking for reasons. He could go donate a MILLON DOLLARS to save homeless cats and you would say he hates dogs. He could go donate a kidney to a black kid and you would call him racist because it didn't go to a white kid. Your the same type of guy who jumped on him for the Rape before the facts that he commited, oh wait nope, just another gold digging person looking for an easy payday. You sound much more smug and arrrogant then Kobe has ever sounded when you start a thread posting what you did. Best Regards to all. |

#24 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:53:23 PM Good day losers. Kobe balls suckers. I am talking about him being a smug arrogant girl. Did I mention his basketball skills ? Did I say he sucks ? NO so all of you girl STFU. This is MY OPINION like this board is made for. Kobe wouldn't have 5 rings if not for SHAQ anyways. Max 2. Stop bringing Lebron into the conversation cause you're too stupid to have a discussion. Kobe is still an fool like most of you here. |
