I also feel SA has a good shot at covering against a short handed squad at home.

10pt tease
PHI+4
DEN+14
DAL+13,5
NORL+3

I know it was very stupid and amateur to cross the point spread with a teaser like this, but I figure if I can get DEN and DAL as DD dogs, I can throw in the two Favs that are suppose to win considering the line and other factors. BOL guys. Oh yea, this is a monster play for me to start the week off right

WIN STREAKS
SA: 3W
LAL: 4W

Someones streak come to an end tonight. Now, I think it all comes down to the 3 min stretch. If LA keeps this game close for 3Q's, who is going to have the legs to run up and down the court to prevent any type of run SA puts together? SA's bench is so deep that Pop can take out all 3 starters beginning of the 2H and rest them til the 4th and the game would still be close. No? Also, how many times will LAL cover without Kobe? Let's just be realistic, odds makers dont make lines to fool you. They make em to make $$ off the juice. Obviously, the line clearly states SA wins but it is set for SA to win by 4. Coming down the stretch toward the end of the 4Q, who on LA can make clutch shots(cough* Kobe Bryant*cough)? Coach Kobe should get his first loss tonight. Just my 2 cents BOL boys!

narrowed down to 4 plays today

lets start with

ORL@BOS (-5)

  • Celtics won nine of last ten at home (8-1-1 vs spread).
  • Orlando is 4-8 vs spread on road since All-Star break.
  • Magic are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
  • Magic are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game
  • Celtics are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.
  • Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5.
  • Celtics are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game.
  • Celtics are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games when their starting 5 players combine for more than 160 minutes of the previous day.
  • Celtics are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 0 days rest.
  • Home team is 5-1-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
  • Magic are 0-3-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Boston.

A must win type of situation for Boston, and without Orl's starters they have no shot of winning this one in Boston. Just need a lucky cover for the W

    OKC@PHX (+3,5)

-- Suns won seven of their last ten games.
losing to: SAS, MEM, DEN on the road

    • Suns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home underdog.
    • Suns are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home underdog of 0.5-4.5.
    • Suns are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
    • Suns are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 home games.
    • Thunder are 12-4 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Phoenix.
    • Oklahoma City lost three of last five road games.
      • Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games.
      • Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference.
      • Thunder are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

I like PHX in this spot. Their fowards all shoot above average @ home. So just like Orl, if Phx can shoot lights out then we have a good chance of covering and winning SU. OKC is really struggling to gather offense on the road, and if they cant put something together against a fast paced Westcoast home team, then they are set up for another Road loss.

    LAL (-6,5)@GSW

Not much pointed towards an LAL cover, but the fact that GWS is missing half their offense will have them tired down the stretch shooting at low %. If A. Bynumn keeps up the hard work under the basket, LAL should win and become closer to clinching that top seed.
Again im praying for a cover here w/o Kobe.

    UTA@PORT under(198)

    • Last time Uta was in Port and it went under was 02/21/10 in (OT)
    • Over is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Portland.
    • Under is 7-3 in Trail Blazers last 10 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
    • Over is 9-4 in Trail Blazers last 13 overall.
    • Under is 4-1 in Trail Blazers last 5 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points.
    • Over is 4-1 in Jazz last 5 games following a ATS loss.
    • Over is 5-1 in Jazz last 6 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.
    • Over is 9-2 in Jazz last 11 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600.
    • Over is 5-2-1 in Portland's last eight home games.

    • Most of these trends include the full roster of each team. I figure with each team only running an 8 man rotation and most starters out of the offense there can only be so many FG scored. This total is set way too high and even though these teams usually do not have any trouble to score, without star players the two teams look one dimensional. Big time trouble to over backers here, I say both teams dont score more that 180pts tonight. This is my best bet for tonight. BOL
