you got a first round pick for Derek Fisher (if this trade actually happened)...that in itself is a good deal.

Hate to see Fish go but it clears up salary for next year. Lakers have said they want to get under the cap. Jordan Hill is a solid back-up for Bynum or Gasol. In the end it does make sense money-wise for L.A. The bench  is better now not to mention the starting line-up: Sessions, Bryant, World Peace, Gasol, Bynum as good as anyone in the league in my opinion.

no the lakers gave up a first round pick, which makes absolutely no sense to me. why give up a first round pick for a guy that wont see the court more then 5 minutes a game. very stupid trade imo

i agree it amkes a lot of sense if it was straight up, but adding a first rounder is really stupid imo. that means they went from having two first rounders to none, and they dont get beasely. basically its beasely and a bench warmer for two first rounders, thats too step of a price

they traded for ramon sessions thats probably why. And your getting a very good pg. he was huge for the my cavs all season

D-Fish will always be a Laker by heart. Good luck to him!

I don't think Sessions will start for LA, because he doesn't know their system yet, I think he'll be Steve's back up.
