Everyone here knows my stance on portland. I've seen a lot of bets being placed on the blazers to win the West, well that's not going to happen. Good thing for them the Suns are even worse.
I am not a huge fan of laying big chalk like this, hence the 1u play. But here is the deal and how I see this game.
1. Phoenix had a good trip. Split the trip 2-2, winning in Boston and New York. Two teams with no rhythm to their offense.
2. Take a look at the Suns losses. I'll give you their margin of defeat....3, 6, 21, 11, and 16. I've said it all season, but Phoenix is garbage, plain and simple.
3. I watched their last roadie in Dallas and that was a double digit game 3/4 of the way. The flagrant in that game late really help phoenix crawl back in. My biggest take home on that game was they let the Mavs without Dirk score 93 on them. One thing Portland will do is push the ball, they do this well at home.
I remember the game in Phoenix where the blazers laid an egg, and it was no surprise, this team struggles on the road. They were also on a b2b, this time they are not.
Due to the size of the line is why I am only making a 1 unit play here. Portland had a close half with Memphis due to 14 turnovers, once they corrected that in the 2nd half it was a DD lead the rest of the way. Portland limits their turnovers and we should get the same result.

I agree with this pick so much i jumped on it when the line opened. Portland at home, after a loss, against the Suns who i think won some of these games with smoke and mirrors, i believe they are more than happy with their road trip. Aldrige will have a field day. Bol

With you on Portland. Too much size on the inside for the Suns to handle and Blazers play well at home. Suns lose a little inside with Lopez out. Blazers big here!!!!

Hey Smartbets, sorry to bother you with this question but I was curious as to how you have done historically with the NBA. I have followed the NBA forum at Covers for a few years and I just don't remember your name. It's a little disappointing how you don't get mentioned very often when people talk about good NBA cappers but it's obvious you are very solid. I am not able to make the Live-in play bets but I still think your plays can be profitable just playing the full games that you put out here. What are your thoughts on this?
