Waiting for line to move towards Orlando before locking in the Celtics. hoping to get it at +9. Books begging for over money with the low total, but looks like this could be a night where the books give back a little.....still waiting to see what money goes where...... I fully expect a 93-87 type game, meaning the over looks juicy with roughly 4 points of value, but we know all too well how hot or cold the magic can be. The NBA needs the Celtics to show up in this game, they are still getting a lot of love from the Media, and media darlings always do well on TNT. The trade commotion surrounding Dwight could spell disaster for the Magic, but I don't expect them to fall flat and chuck up only 60 points this game..... I actually think we see Turkalo and Dwight shine with 30 and 20 respectively. expect a battle in the trenches today, with KG resembling his former self. Lots of 3's raining from both sides, lots of paint attack from the Magic, and ultimately a higher than expected scoring game.
I'll take Boston at +8.5 if I have too, but will sprinkle a touch on the ML because its not often you see the Celtics paying +340 on a ML. surely worth a half unit play.
Boston +8.5 (or +9 if I can find it) Boston ml for half a unit.

@mrod: sorry, I didn't respond earlier, but I would have leaned to the under, as I would not have seen New Orleans putting up 91 points, which ended up putting it over the total. So I'm glad I stayed away.

Love the points here.
Last game orlando scored 56 points. that wont happen again. Last time
orlando was an ugly 4 of 16 from behind the arch. Im betting they have
at least twice as many tonight.
Boston averages 89.4 ppg.
Orlando averages 94.8 ppg.
Thats over 183 ppg between the two, just on that raw number.
orlando gives up an average of 90.8 ppg
boston gives up an average of 88.3 ppg
These raw numbers suggest roughly 180 points. With some defensive
players missing, or questionable, im guessing the magic creep close to
the century mark, and because I think boston keeps pace, I gotta go with
my gut on this one and hit the over.
I have been known to be wrong though, so ur play on the under is quite
within the realm of being right.....im just going by raw numbers and a
gut feel.
I stick to my thinking of a 93-87 type game.
Its one night with an ugly card. The safest play tonight would be to
have no action.....but im not about being safe at the moment.....

I should have waited to closing line on the total on the Celtics game, I would have pushed instead of eating the loss, but hey, the ML cashed nicely.

Im leaning Pacers, Bulls, Timberwolves/Under, but unsure at this time.

I think that's it for me tonight. If there was a ML dog to play today, Id suggest the Bucks or Wizards. But i dont trust either team enough.

Is today the day we actually take the Magic to cover if not out right win? is +8.5 too much for the Wizard at home? Do the spurs cover tonight after fighting hard to come back and get the cover last night? Can portland go into Utah and steal a win? Will the Suns and Mavs light up the score board tonight?
Man, I'm perplexed at todays' game. Maybe i'll wait to see how lines move and where money goes.
But I gotta feeling that this "Road team wins" streak continues tonight......
