This is why I have backed off the NBA Betting BIG TIME this playoff season. The refs simply do not understand that this is playoff basketball, and in just about every series I have seen many instances where the refs prevent these guys from playing the game. The guys on TNT have it exactly right. It was a bullshit call...and the double technical has got to be the biggest cop out creation in the history of sports. I friggin hate it because it is completely ruining the game. Yesterday, I watched the first quarter of the Celtics/Heat game, then turned it off and went outside to do some yard work. The refs got the C's in foul trouble instantly on many touch fouls (Rondo specifically). I knew how the entire game was going to turn out, so no need to watch it. Any time the C's got close...there was a call or non-call that allowed the Heat to pull off a 6-0 run. The Lakers already have this game won because the Mavs are in foul trouble...and the refs are going to give them every conceivable call. Sorry Mavs backers/fans....you cant win when playing 5 on 8.
