wait, if alaska wins they are guaranteed 5th? if this is so then mer has nothing to play for in the 2nd game. they just need to keep the game close... be careful about meralco

YOU GOT IT. that's why even if meralco lose SU but not lose by more than 13points to ROS then, they still at number 6th place. even ROS win they will still drop to 7-8 spot together with AIR

probably will wait after the 1st game. for a safe bet

I don't think it would matter for Alaska. At least they know that they can beat either BMEG or GK if it comes to it so I don't think they'd settle for a L here.

As for Rain or Shine. I think Sol Mercado will play. I managed to catch him in Makati and had a little chat. He said he's feeling much better and said he's 70-30 whether he'll play or not. Still have to wait for the team doctor to be cleared fit to play.

I think Meralco won't be better with the trade yet. Marlou has been a huge factor in their wins. Hopefully Ryan Gregorio do something with Thiele's talents. I strongly feel that it's being wasted there. He was a ROY candidate in Barako and can't find consistent minutes for Meralco now.

im sure meralco wants to win too for momentum but so does rain or shine.. and the fact is, ros has more to play for in this game... so be careful about mer.

im on mer as well and ive lost 6 straight i think haha

Air 21 remains at No. 7 and Rain Or Shine at No. 8. In the first round of the playoffs, Talk ‘N’ Text will battle Rain Or Shine and San Miguel Beer will meet Air 21. Ginebra faces Alaska and B-Meg squares off with Meralco in best-of-three series.

Second, Alaska wins and Meralco loses. B-Meg and Alaska finish at 7-7 with the Aces taking No. 4 by virtue of a higher quotient. Meralco, Air 21 and Rain Or Shine wind up at 6-8.
