i just heard this discussion from the broadcasters. he is not a hof player, which is unfortunate. the guy brings a lot of heart to the court each night.

Derek Fisher HOF

I really really really don't like Derek Fisher. Every time he reacts to a call that doesn't go the way he would like, I just want to punch him, but he will probably flop and then the ref would have to stop the fight.

He plays the refs more than he plays the actual game, but I do respect the guy as a competitor. Gotta respect the man for making himself relevant in the NBA for all these years.

You guys are funny. One day a player plays outstanding or saves the game at the last seconds, he's a HOF. The next he goes 1-10 from the FG and he's all of a sudden the worst player in the league.

Let me tell you right now, some are better than others BUT they can all play (if they want to), otherwise they would never have made it to the NBA (where amazing happens).

NO, but he has been all 4 of the Lakers Championship, and, if that was a sarcastic question , Kobe Bryant, and I am becoming a "fan", of Kobe? But, anyway, this guy is a leader and is a Hall of Famer! There is only one Jordan and one Wade and one whoever, and Kobe is a player coach, and did a great job being a fabilitator and a great job on the sideline!!!f Odom finally showed up, on the other hand so did KG,. The difference in that game simply was the absent of the Big Mouth, Paul Pierce! I have nothing aginst Paul, but I played sports, and he made that very audacious statement, "We aint coming back here, meaning LA,! KG will probably tell him to shut up and start playing!  Very good basketball game guys! I had no dog in the fight, as for as this thread matters, because I did not post! But, if you caught Skip[ Bayless yesterday, I thought like he did!! He has had the sickest buzzer beater of all time with 0.3 s. ....and sometimes its not about the numbers. Its how you play the game, with integrity and heart, sportsmanship,teamwork..etc. He is one of the best at that aspect of the game of basketball. Great for kids to look up to IMO... unlike some players who do not even have a ring..

Having a solid 14 year career and the occasional 4th qrt clutch performance does not get you into the hall of fame. The lakers are not even going to retire his number.... lets see that happen first before anyone mentions "HOF"...lol...

.....I DO think the lakers 3-peat team should be inducted as a team to recognize the difficult accomomplishent of the 3-peat. That will be a way to give due props to fisher and horry. But that won't be for atleast another 15 years, and/if they induct the bulls teams first...

Does anyone know if the celtics teams of the 60's are inducted to recognized their string of championships?
