I'm @akspray.

This must be my lucky day. I feel good after starting my run in the NBA off right with the Hornets cover last night and I've been confident about my next pick since seeing the line yesterday.
The Bulls have disappointed me so far. It seems like every time they have a good promising year, they can't it to the next level the next season. I thought with the continuing growth of young guys like Rose, Noah, Thomas and the return of Deng, they'd become a top contender in the East. As of right now, however, they're not even a .500 squad. Sure, they lost Ben Gordon, but he's always been a selfish locker room cancer in my eyes. He was electric in last year's playoff series against the Celtics, but you gotta remember he was playing for a new contract. Well, he was signed for a billion dollars to the Pistons and look where they are.
The Pacers, on the other hand, just suck. But they don't suck as much as the Bulls on the road. Chicago is a putrid 9-17 on the road this year as opposed to their 15-8 home record, which clearly shows their immature "get-up or lay-down" mentality. They can look phenomenal when playing against top competition, especially at the United Center but have no problems laying eggs when their hearts are not in it.
Look at their most recent road trip.
On their 7-game road trip late last month, they beat San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Oklahoma City and New Orleans. Very impressive.
And who did they lose to?
The Clipper and the Warriors.
That is baffling. Now take into account that the Bulls are 3-17 all-time at Conseco Fieldhouse and this will be Indiana's last game before the All-Star Break, while Chicago is traveling to Ortlando to take on the Magic tomorrow. These two Central division teams always play each other tough and the home team has won the last five matchups. And in their earlier matchup this year in Chicago, the Bulls shot 52% from the field, 91% from the line, outrebounded Indiana by a 47-31 margin, yet they only won 104-95 against a Pacer squad that was missing their best player in Danny Granger. Now Granger is in, Noah is out for the Bulls, Chicago's a little banged up and they're playing a "bad" team in a historically hostile environment for them.
Plus around 60% of the action is on Chicago, yet the line moved the other way?
Maybe I won't need luck today.

BIG PLAY today on...
THE INDIANA PACERS
