Believe in that N'awlins voodoo for at least the next couple weeks, because everybody from there, outside of Manning and Company, will be feeling it after the Saints big win on Sunday.
The Hornets, though 11-16 on the road this year, are 9-3 in their last 12 road games and 6-1 in their last 7; two of those losses came in overtime and none of their three losses was by more than seven points. And during this hot streak on the road, they've beaten the likes of Utah, Portland, Memphis, Oklahoma City and Charlotte. Impressive, considering that Chris Paul's been out for the past week-and-a-half.
Orlando's been good, but up-and-down, particularly in their last two games. They blow a big lead at home against the lowly Wizards and lose, and then go up to TD Garden and launch a comeback win of their own against the Celtics.
The Magic are on the second day of a back-to-back after having played Boston on the road and now coming back home to play the Hornets. And after landing in Orlando, it's pretty safe to say that the Magic players most likely went right to a Super Bowl party instead of resting up for tonight's matchup.
I see New Orleans coming out playing inspired basketball and keeping this one close as Stan Van Girthy and his squad try to recover from a hard-fought battle against the Celtics as well as too many chicken wings and Bud Light.

Today begins my annual post-Super Bowl run in the NBA, which has always been my most successful time of the year. Hopefully we get it started off right with a nice little 1-0 streak.
