I think this game is the most interesting game on the card tonight!!!
never really thought I would be saying that anytime soon, but it really looks like a great matchup tonight between the Clips and Grizz - both teams are playing with a lot of confidence right now...

Yeah, seriously, if you would have told me that both of these teams would be playing in January trying to get to a winning record, I would have in your face.
But that's the case, and right now I'm torn about this one. The Clippers have been at home for a while, and this will be their first road game on the trip, after sweeping the 4 game homestand. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies just played a ton of road games.
Tough one.

wanna do some research but i gotta think that they take the recent good play at home and try to convert that to some road success - thinking memphis might not be as fired up as the clips for this game...

as far as value, i dont know how many times you can get a team at +5 who has covered their last 6 games(clippers) and they have covered by an average margin of 9.8 points during this span!!!
so the question is, do the clippers try to "bottle up" some of their recent home success and take it with them on the road and try to get this road trip started the right way?
are the grizzlies looking to get this 4 game home stand started off the right way, or do they maybe overlook the clippers here?

"We can compete with anybody in the league," Baron Davis said. "What we've been able to do is establish an attitude, an identity. And that has really happened for us on the defensive end. Our wings are doing a great job of accepting the challenge and our bigs are doing what they're supposed to do on the inside and that's protect the paint."
Said Al Thornton: "If we keep playing like this, I think we can be special."

Memphis will look to avenge a 98-88 loss on Nov. 29 at Staples Center where the Clippers erased a 20-point third quarter lead and scored the final 22 points of the game to earn the victory.

wonder if memphis remembers this

the Grizz starters are wearing down from lack of bench support - this might be a great spot for the clippers to come in as the more motivated team, and memphis might be in a lazy mode with a four game homestand going on...
Hollins has enjoyed a starting group that's accounted for roughly 80 percent of the team's average scoring. Upholding that rate and keeping the Grizzlies' winning pace might be compromised by wear and tear if their reserves don't shift into a smooth gear.
Zach Randolph barely spoke above a whisper following Monday's practice. He's trying to recover from a cold that's weakened his voice.
Marc Gasol and Mike Conley weren't even in sight. The Grizzlies' starting center and point guard were instead hanging out in the trainer's room to receive treatment for a bum shoulder and bad back, respectively.

I'm betting that they haven't forgotten about that.

agree they have had 2 days off, but i meant they may be tired from fighting for games, palying hard, etc. - almost from a menatl standpoint i mean
i could just see the grizz taking this game lightly because they are on a 4 game hoestand so there is plenty of time to "right the ship" if they lose this game
and that revenge factor from the 22 unanswered points melt down does pose a threat....

I'd be shocked if the entire Grizzlies team wasn't licking their chops at this very hour as they wait to get on the court and pay back these Clippers for that 22-0 closing run on November 29th. That 4th quarter was unbelievable. The Grizzlies had to play the next night in Utah but were too dazed by what happened in Clipperland to compete with the Jazz. But following that 27-point loss in Utah, the Grizz turned their season around, and have gone 12-6 since after starting out 6-12.

you make a good case for the grizz - i hate to be against u on a play too
i just think this sets up nicely for the clips tonight, but i realize i am definitely in the minority with my thinking on this game - and i have been wrong many times and will be wrong again too in the future - so who knows...

will marc gasol's giant physique be gracing the court tonight in tennessee ?
his muscular pectoral seems to be bothering him but will it force him to sit courtside in an ill-fitting suit while wearing size 21 bruno magli's ?
he's so big he gets a lap dance from 2 strippers at the same time and still has room to double fist with both hands holding pitchers of lowenbau .
mike conley has a bullet head and a pimp's mustache but is he ready to go ?
anybody got the information necessary to quench my oblongata's thirsty needs ?
looking for a nice effort by memphis here if all play.
possible over 102 play because i expect a full 4 quarter effort this time around .
baron davis looks to have shed some beard girth lightening the load on his face increasing his speed in the process cheeseburgers no longer falling from his waistband on mad dashes to the bucket .
mr . baiotor
wallstreetcappers craps in his draws and pees fuckin backwards from his vaj with a squirt.
