Honestly, I agree with you this man is a legend, and this year he is playing his best ball ever. He carried that Lakers team and got that game winner against Sacro, and has done this plenty of times this year. Kobe is the best player in the NBA right now.

Lol. Jordan, Baylor and Magic make Kobe look like a child. Obviously you are no older than 20 and havent see these players in their prime.

Obviously you are hanging on to your nostolgic memories!

I thought kobe was an over-rated douche for a long time, but the man has the demonstrated: durability, sustained excellence, commitment to the game, and continual improvement....  He is in the coversation of 10 greatest players ever, and will in the coversation as top 5 by the time he retires.  Out of the top 5, it is impossible to say who is the best.

If you are going to crap on kobe for losing 2 finals, then make sure you also crap on Magic for losing 4 finals.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar the highest scorer and Bill Russell championships I think or Michael. Michael Jordan still ranks above Kobe easily in the big picture. We heard the same about Larry Bird and Magic Johnson to each his own without a doubt. Bryant is in the top 10 for certain but nobody can say the best ever right now for anybody in any sport. Lebron James will be this guy's next greatest of all time in three or four years, then on from there some kid nobody ever has heard of yet. Give them all there due I say!

Not a chance in hell. Jordan's worst loss in the Finals was by 21 points against Seattle, and that was after they took a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
