#2 Posted: 12/31/2009 2:39:45 PM I don't know. Detroit lost 8 in a row. You don't think it's time to win? I like detroit here. They're playing at home + They have a very good bench. Bulls are 2-11 on the road.
IMO - Detroit needs to bench Stuckey. I HATE THIS GUY!!! He can't make plays. Only Avg's 4 apg. Remember when Billups ran the ball? If Detroit can run the ball at a fast pace, the'll win. |

#4 Posted: 12/31/2009 2:54:59 PM Hard to make a case for the terrible Pistons, but it seems like they just HAVE to show up and make sure they win this game. After all, how much would it seriously suck to "celebrate" on New Year's Eve when earlier in the day you closed out an otherwise proud decade by losing your ninth straight game? On the other hand, if you win today, you get the losing streak monkey off your back and can actually have fun tonight without feeling like a loser. |

The only thing more depressing than the current economic state of Detroit is going to a Pistons game.

#10 Posted: 12/31/2009 3:52:43 PM Looks like the Pistons are going to have a horrible New Year's Eve; on the other hand, I think they got "poontang" and Crytal Champagne lined up anyway.
With that said , I got the pistols -4 ------- it is very early; I am sure everyone has had a NBA team covering the spread by 16 at the end of the 3rd Quarter----------and lost.

#12 Posted: 12/31/2009 4:16:01 PM the terrible Pacers got back within five (from 20+ point lead) in chicago the other day... except if Pistons do it, they have enough defense to not give it back
this is far from over

#17 Posted: 12/31/2009 4:29:44 PM So far reservoir-dogs is livin' right with sprained ankles suffered in the 1st quarter by Ben Wallace and Rodney Stuckey. Then Stuckey came back and rolled his left ankle again. |

yep pistons have enough defense to make a stop but they lack on offense ,,+4.5 is a big cushion on this tight game |

#21 Posted: 12/31/2009 5:48:12 PM nice move... will hamilton *ever* shoot 50% again in a game?
my guess is - not until Detroit plays a team with no inside presence, sort of like Golden State or Portland
chicago abused them in the paint, much like clippers did to portland last night... tall = good
