#1 Posted: 11/22/2009 5:58:29 AM Sup gents...on with the show.
ORLANDO MAGIC MONEYLINE - - - Sigh...it's
days like this I hate being a gambler. Because honestly I feel like
such an idiot cheering for the Raps while I loose a g. It has happened
before and my boys look at me like I am a mental patient. If that
happens today believe it or not I will be a very happy Mak. Those who
know me, know I speak the truth. But I just do not see my boys being
able to handle this Magic team. In my opinion this is the best team in
the east and they proved it to me against Boston. They are deeper then
Jenna Haze and they keep getting better and better as they understand
rotation and are assigned specific roles. Tonight believe it or not
folks Vincent Lamar Carter is getting honored by the Toronto Raptors in
part of their 15th Anniversary. Now a lot of people will be surprised
but despite your boy Mak's hatred towards him I will be there in
attendance at 12:30 and I will be one of maybe 6 people who ackowledge
him at that point with an ovation. Fact of the matter is he put the
Raptors organization on the map and maybe even Toronto as a basketball
city. I hate that he was a lazy good for nothing quitter and did not
give it 100% for my team however he deserves acknowledgment. Not
respect. But acknowledgment. If Vince gets booed or if the crowd
shows appreciation I think both aspects will cause him to have a great
game today. Bargnani and Belli must have fucked the same Italian chick
on Friday night after their win or each other cause they both missed
practice with the flu. According to Toronto media they are doubtful
but you never know. I will cap them playing but I doubt they play at
100%. Wright is questionable as well. Jason "White Chocolate"
Williams is a crazy white dude who can flat out ball. His showtime
plays back in the day with Sac were some of the best. I love this
player and think this 34 year old can easily lead this team. Pietrus
is very under-rated and will have a big game. Lewis is one guy who is
long and fast enough to guard Chris Bosh. J.J murdered the Raps last
time around. Gortat and Bass will be too much to handle. Raps are
over-powered in every which way. I suspect they put up a fight but
fall short.
10 UNITS VINCENT LAMAR CARTER - - -
MIAMI HEAT - 6.0 (-130) - - - You know I am always first to admit I was wrong. But again I think I was on the right side of the ATL@NO game. Well obviously I wasn't because there is not profit in my pocket however New Orleans go away with another lucky one in my opinion. Bibby went out early in the first and I was very surprised to see how stagnant the offense became without him. Atlanta also shot 4-22 from three and also missed a lot of easy mid range jumpers. Orleans on a back to back flight to MIA will not be pretty. Especially when a pissed D Wade and company are waiting for them. After 3 consecutive losses you can bet your ass you get the best Miami Heat team possible tonight. The impressive Orleans rookies will be welcomed to the NBA tonight on their first real back to back after playing heavy minutes they will have to duel Mario and Wade. Both coming of a 60 point showing this back-court is proper. Also statistically the best defensive back-court in the league. Posey and Peja are oldies and are not going to produce on this back to back. J.O looks rejuvenated and his knee looks a lot better then it did last year. Beasley is turning into that lottery pick that Pat Riley envisioned. I do hope that Haslem plays he will be a big asset in this game. Arroyo is doing good things off the bench as another playmaker on this team. The Heat are going to be on their best behavior tonight.
10 UNITS STEVE SMITH - - -
LOS ANGELES LAKERS - 8.0 (-130) - - - Theeyyyyrrrreee baaaaacckkkk. The champs are back baby. With G back in the mix this team is gonna roll over opponents. I really do hope Bynum plays he will make this a very easy cover. The Thunder took the Lakers to OT in OKC. Tonight will be a very different game. Artest did cause Durant to miss 14 shots last game, D Fish owns Westbrook and defends him better then anyone in the league. Odom, Gasol and Bynum if he plays will own the front-court of Etan Thomas, Nenad and Green. Thabo really irritated Kobe a lot down the stretch last game but honestly I don't even think the Lakers will need a lot of scoring from Kobe tonight to pull off this cover. I do think that Kobe will be out for Thabo's head tonight which is always a good thing to watch. Look for an easy dd win by showtime.
10 UNITS CEDRIC CEBALLOS - - -

#6 Posted: 11/22/2009 6:53:51 AM I agree with you on the Hawks/NOH game - NOH were lucky that Hawks didn't capitalise on their crappy start and Bibby going out injured was even better for them. BOL Mak, thanks as always for posting and the write ups even with the haters! |

#12 Posted: 11/22/2009 8:17:23 AM Even if Vincent hits the hardwood and grabs his ankle, knee, shoulder, ballsack and gets carted off in a wheelchair for an upper body injury, I still believe Orlando covers the handfull this afternoon.
