they opened at -1.5 on the road at the struggling out of whack new orleans hornets. the line is now at -2. i expect it to climb even higher once gametime grows closer and closer.

Blazers spank the Hornets tonight! Chris Paul Upset that they fired byron scott without at least consulting with him. CP3 will not play as hard tonight just to get back at ownership!

chris paul hated scott from all accounts...... ........this game is too unpredictable to bet on..... blazers have been playing well, but last year they were not the greatest road team and are due for a let down..... hornets could continue their slide, but history shows teams with new coaches come out with inspired energy the first few games.....
No play for me on the side or the total...

I feel the same way with this Portland game. It seems almost to obvious of a match-up for us to bet on the day after the firing which can scare me but..
I figures that even if this is a close game Port has to have the last two min advantage in coaching. The GM is now on the sidelines and what sort of confidence will he bring for him team when he is setting up a play call or tactics to close out the game.
Port has lost to Atl, Houston and Den this year, but they have been playing much better with Miller stepping up and Oden coming around. Neither team played last night. Portland has played well on the road this season and has really stepped it up there D.
Paul and West listed as D 2 D, while both will prob play.

guys i normally never play favorites in this spot. seeing as how it is a trap spot, i almost always go with the dogs. but tonight i am bucking the trend. i got portland late last night at -1.5.
i think this game will be close for a while, with the blazers superior depth winning out in the end. BOL
