#2 Posted: 10/29/2009 12:58:42 AM I kind of like the -3.5 a little better. Not sure what kind of pace Chicago is going to roll out, and the Spurs looked more than capable of putting points on the board. Might wait for the total to dive then hit the over....What do you think?

Pinny and most of the big books opened this @198 so that's where I capped it last night. Not biting on this one. BOL |

#9 Posted: 10/29/2009 2:05:35 PM Creepa actually makes a decent point regarding reliance on B2B situations on his post. This early in the season, it's difficult to wager on situational analysis, fundamental analysis or statistical analysis. We're flying blind gents. That's why, as I've said heretofore, I rely heavily on trending this part of the season. Let the books do all the capping for you and just play against their numbers. I like to use last 3 seasons as a sample. Trending alone is not a great capping strategy but it's a guessing game right now.

Yeah, small action wager 1/20th Unit.
caveat: From a value standpoint, there is absolutely no value whatsoever on this or on the over. I'm just playing for the action. I too am an action junkie at times. LOL
How about them C's. Can't bet on them since I'm such a Homer.

With 13 games on tap for FRI, I'm reverting to the oldest strategy of them all. The "HOT" capping method.
Heads Or Tails LMAO
Have a good night my friend. |

#18 Posted: 10/29/2009 3:20:28 PM Hey Ax great stuff - new to the NBA forum spend my time primarily in baseball. If you have a min would you or anyone else who has the knowledge go a little bit more into detail about trending and how you use the books to cap the game for you in the NBA?
Best of luck to a great season |

Please do not pay any attention to the ATS or SU numbers. This is actually a huge table and I was only pointing some of the trending with the O-U section. It was careless of me not to cut those out and assume people will only look at that section. |
