Rose to win Rookie of the Year?

You guys think he is worth -200 to win rookie of the year? Seems to me like he is the hands down pick as of right now at least. OJ Mayo is +120 and he is the only other one I can see with a chance but I am not too worried about him since he plays for an awful awful team and doesn't get half the attention Rose gets. What you guys think?

You think he is worth the -200 price value? I hate to lay that kind of juice only halfway through the year, but I just can't see anyone else making the impact Rose has made.

Well if the Nets make the playoffs, Brook Lopez will win it.

First off I'm a Nets fan and Brook has done a great job but that being said, he has been up and down all year. Hes averaging 8 boards a game which is good for a rookie, but he doesn't get half the media attention Rose gets. To me, that is what wins the award. People are saying already that Rose is a top flight NBA pg, something that is tough to do in his rookie year. The media and sports writers vote for the award, so just something to keep in mind.

There is no way Mayo wins it because he's on the Grizzles. Rose is by far the number one choice right now. However, if the Nets make the playoffs and possibly the second round and Lopez keeps his numbers up, then he could possibly take over Rose because of how bad the Bulls are.

So, I'd go with Rose for right now, but I wouldn't risk my life on it.

Just my opinion. Either Way Good Luck

The award is voted on after the regular season so any post season results do not count toward the voting.

He's still -200 and I think its a GREAT bet. Buzz around the league on him has been amazing. Other guys such as Mayo have good stats, but get nowhere near the media attention Rose gets. I would add more to my bet if stupid sportsbook didn't have such low limits

I know the game today had no effect on the award as the awards are voted after the regular season is over but WOW. If one person votes for someone other then Rose, they did not watch the Bulls this season. Yes he had his best game of the year, but he is the biggest reason they are in the playoffs. Brook Lopez is not in the same category, and that is coming from a Nets fan. Mayo? Westbrook? Give me a break.

I am being serious, if one person votes for anyone other then Rose, their voting privileges should be taken away.

Yea I know bro, this thread was made back in February. I just wish my damn site didn't have such low limits as I wanted to unload on it. I am 100% sure he will win but I am curious to see the vote to see if there was anyone who didn't vote for him.

Kind of like on the nfl mvp vote, when Chris Johnson got a vote

Hope they voted before this game today,lol
I have Mayo at 3-1 which you know,I think Mayo has the #s to win it,but Rose has ESPN pushing him,so Im counting my 50 gone,but for most of year I thought it was an easy 150,congrats on Rose bet.
