#1 Posted: 1/29/2009 1:36:39 AM I was watching the Chicago/Clippers game earlier and heard the Chicago announcers mention that they had an oppertunity to start out this West Coast swing well because the next few games (Clipps, Kings) are very winnable. Chicago proved that theory correct by beating the snot out of the Clippers. As for Sacramento, they also got a beat down and lost by 19 points, curtiousy of the might Boston Celtics.
Looking ahead to Friday night's card(I like to start early), and this game is already a top my list.
I like it because both of these teams are coming into this game riding momentum. Chicago proved tonight that they can beat down crappy teams with ease. And Sacramento proved that they are prone to beat downs. You see how all of this matches up well?!!?!?!
I think because of what happened tonight, your going to see a lot of people taking the Bulls because of the reasons listed above.
It's gonna be interesting to see the line once it comes out... |

#5 Posted: 1/29/2009 6:02:45 PM Chicago looked pretty good yesterday, even though it was against the Clips, Chicago is hot. I'm tempted for the -2. |

#6 Posted: 1/29/2009 11:07:16 PM How are the Bulls favored in this game? Hasn't Sacramento played better at home since Kevin Martin returned?
The Bulls beating the Clippers doesn't change anything - they still can't play on the road.
Not saying I'm playing the Kings, but might just skip the side and play a total here. |

Well the line fell to Chicago -1.5. Looks even more tempting, no?!
I'm telling you guys, be cautious about betting the Bulls tomorrow because this game has "I got burned" potential. |

#10 Posted: 1/29/2009 11:54:01 PM Fading shit teams = money.
LAC, SAC, WAS, OKC... looking back at each teams last 4 games ATS I can't believe I wasn't on any of them. Instead I go with the more difficult games. I'm going to start making things easier. |

#12 Posted: 1/30/2009 12:12:25 AM True OKC is covering a lot lately. But especially down the stretch look for them to stop covering at such a high rate. Last night they were -7.5 favorites. Threw me off so I stayed away. For good reason too. I would have taken the 7 with Memphis then the Grizz tie it up and send it to OT and proceed to lose by about 12
1) Stay away from shit games |

#15 Posted: 1/30/2009 12:33:38 AM I also like the Cavs to rout the Clips at home. Big Z is suppose to be back, Cavs coming off the bad loss tonight on TNT, and well......it's the Cillpers!!! The bloody Bulls just beat them by 20 IN LAC. |

#17 Posted: 1/30/2009 12:57:23 AM love the bulls here....4 of 5 starters average double figures...they have more fire power and will beat Sacramento for 2nd straight road win over lousy opponent.

#19 Posted: 1/30/2009 1:08:26 AM Also, Sacramento is bad at home this year, unlike previous seasons, they are 7-15 at Arco.
Cheezstack...you are oh so right about fading Wizards (have won a lot leaning against them...careful with Philly though) and Clippers but OKC is a covering machine depsite the bad record; they have a great ATS RECORD
Cavs by 25-35...clippers cannot score, starters are tired and worn down and they have too many hurt people...Lebron might get 40 and Cavs will eclipse 100 mark. |

#21 Posted: 1/30/2009 5:32:28 AM Holy hell.
I guess I need to stop with all these innuendo's because clearly some of you people aren't understanding my point. Maybe it's the way I'm wording it, I don't know...
And no, the .5 didn't make me switch to the Kings. What it did was simpily reinforced my beleif that this game is... and I'm going to say this as bluntly as I can so people aren't confused. Ready?!
The Chicago Bulls are the biggest sucker bet on the board tomorrow.
That's it. That's my whole point of this thread.
The End. |
