What's good gents? Nice Monday night, picked up some precious units. Nice slate a games today, goin with a top 2 but tempted to play the slate. Tryin to play smarter, let's see if it works out. Good start to the month, let's keep it goin fellas.
NEW JERSEY NETS - 5.5 - - - Devin Harris, Devin Harris, Devin Harris. Have I not said this before? Before his 47 point outburst, before his consistent all-star caliber play, I could tell this kid was something special. This kid deserves to be in PHO for the all-star game if NJ continues to win, and that is coming from a Raps fan who wants Jose to be in, no chance against D.Harris at this point. His penetration, his speed, agility and shot are all at levels where he could be a top tier PG in this league. I don't think people realize what type of impact a smart, talented PG can have on a basketball team. NJ could turn from bottom dwellers in the East to contenders for that 4th spot. Lawrence Frank is without a doubt the most under-rated coach in the league, his offensive sets and defensive strategy are very good. Young role-players like Brooke Lopez & Yi Jianlian are impressive. Jarvis Hayes and Bobby Simmons are good wing players. Keyon Dooling is a decent backup PG and this team may be a gem to ride for a while....oh yeah and that got that box who will make the All-Star team after missing it for the first time this year...because he deserves it...(sigh) I cringed writing that. Nets take this by 6 easily against the woeful Wiz.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS - 8.0 - - - Public will be on this hard, and for good reason. The Lakeshow are the best team in the league only losing once to Detroit at home. they take their perfect record to IND who has been struggling. The season Indy has been struggling is because of inconsistent PG play from T.J Ford. Toronto fans were witnessed to this all last season. Despite that IND still plays well at home and Lake Show have yet to really blow out a team on the road. I don't see a blowout, rather a close game and a close cover. Ariza will defend Granger well, Bynum will own the interior and Gasol coming off an excellent game vs the Raps will play well. Kobe Bryant sat the entire 4th Q vs Raps and has had plenty of rest. Look for the Lakeshow to cover and remain flawless on the road.
