I PROBABLY WILL RECEIVE SOME BASHING FOR THIS PLAY, BUT I HEARD THE SAME THING YESTERDAY WITH MY PORTLAND PLUS THE POINTS AND ML PLAYS. HOUSTON HAS NOW LOST 2 STRAIGHT TOUGH LOSSES THAT THEY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIN BOTH GAMES. I FEEL GOOD ABOUT THIS PLAY ON THE ML BUT I WILL BACK IT UP WITH THE POINTS AS WELL. I AM TAKING THE CLIPS BECAUSE I FEEL THEY GET THEIR FIRST W OF THE SEASON IN FRONT OF THE HOMETOWN CROWD.

IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE GAME. THE PTS WERE NEVER IN JEOPARDY BUT THE ML MADE ME SWEAT WHEN THE ROCKETS CUT A 10 PT LEAD IN THE 3RD QUARTER. I AM JUST HAPPY IT WORKED OUT FOR US AND I WILL TAKE IT. THERE HAS BEEN MANY TIMES WHEN I HAVE BEEN ON THE OTHERSIDE OF LAST SECOND HEROICS.

I THOUGHT THE REFS WERE GOING TO TAKE THAT GAME FROM US. THAT WAS A TICKY TAC CALL FOR YAO TOWARDS THE END OF THAT GAME. BUT ROY SAVED US.

Hey Fade, I for one WAS a strong believer in Clips too. I haven't bet them all season UNTIL their last game +15 vs the Lakeshow. And then a 22-0 run hit in the 4th and it was all she wrote. Not trying to bash here and not saying I'll be on the Rockets since they'll probably have tired legs after the disheartening OT loss, but I will not be playing the Clips in the foreseeable future. I can't think of any other team that can collapse like they did. I would be on the same side as you given a ML dog at home which has talent and Rockets just suffered a heartbreaking loss in OT and have to travel BUT I just cant put $$ on the Clips right now. Best of luck!!!

i think its a good spot for the clipps but i just cant back these bums. the have totally rolled over in the 2nd half of all their games. they havent showed me that the are capable of playing a solid 48 minutes. they dont even seem like they care or WANT to win.

YOU BOTH MAKE EXCELLENT POINTS AND I AGREE SINCE I WATCHED EVERY CLIPS GAME THIS YEAR THUS FAR. THEY HAVE BEEN AWESOME IN THE FIRST HALF OF THEIR GAMES ONLY TO COLLAPSE IN THE 2ND HALF, MOSTLY THE 4TH QUARTER (WHEN IT MATTERS). I FEEL THAT THIS GAME MAY BE A COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT WE HAVE SEEN FROM THE CLIPS THIS YEAR. WHAT I AM SAYING IS THEY MIGHT FACE A SMALL HALFTIME DEFICIT BUT I FEEL THEY WILL FOCUS ON PLAYING GOOD 2ND HALF BB AND PREVAIL. ALSO I FEEL THIS IS A GREAT SPOT FOR THE CLIPS TO GET THEIR FIRST WIN, BUT IF NOT THEY SHOULD KEEP THIS ONE CLOSE AND WITHIN THE NUMBER.

Here's the problem with Houston...their soft.  Artest is the only tough one on the team...but he can't rebound...guard...and score.  The last 2 games they've lost...they've been shredded on rebounding.  This game will be much of the same.  Not to mention Houston is a jump shooting team and that can keep any team in a game...even this poor Clippers team.

I don't know what you're looking at, but it's just not the case.  Looks to me like most cappers who are getting involved with this game feel comfortable taking the 6.5 points.
