#1 Posted: 11/4/2008 6:59:39 PM Definition: Dirty Cash - Money obtained buy illicit means (i.e. prosititution, extortion, theft, blackmail, laundering etc.)
Tonight we will make some Dirty Cash, off the bookies because this is robbing their coffers right in front of their eyes. The bookmakers are about 5.5 points off on this line.
The Nets are currently +6.5 at home vs. the Suns. Your only concern? The Suns flying cross-country to play this game. Not to worry. A few individuals will offset that problem. I have been a Nets fan for 17 years and I can assure you, that when Steve Nash and Shaq (even the old broken down Shaq) fly across the US to play at the IZOD center they are not boarding the flight home at Newark airport with anything less than a win in their back pocket.
Reasons:
1. The Suns OBLITERATE the east - The Suns compiled an NBA-best 24-6 record against the East last season.
2. The Suns are shooting lights out in their first three games and Porter may have them using a more comfortable offensive philosophy - The Suns are shooting 52.8 percent, and they're coming off their best performance yet. Phoenix made 55.1 percent of its shots on Saturday against Portland, rallying from a halftime deficit to win 107-96.
3. Nash is still Nash...no drop-off...he may be even more possessed - Nash (19.0 ppg, 9.7 apg) is playing typically well, and shooting 60.0 percent from 3-point range.
4. Lastly, and swallow hard Nets backers....your big three matchups are
Steve Nash vs. Devin Harris 
Shaq vs. Josh Boone/Brook Lopez!
(cue the vomit if your on the Nets +6.5)
I don't care where this game is being played, the bookies still have the Nets win over the Wizards Away performance on their mind and without that win the line would be +9.5 to +10 for the Nets.
I'm prediciting a minimum of a 12 point win here.
SUNS -6.5 over the Nets

The $10 is on the margin of victory and widely considering a 'fooling around bet'...and as far as 'opinion' goes, that's what this entire forum is...an opinion on who will win...there are no guarantees in any game. Your under for the half is looking like its in bad shape...That's fo Sho. |
