I AM BRINGING A NEW TWIST TO THE CONSENSUS REPORT. All the so called percentages that we recieve from sportsbooks or consensus sites, only report on that days activities. It is also very important to know which teams got the most action just as the line was posted. I don't follow many so called websites that post betting percentages. why u may ask? For example, lets say that percentages show that 75% of public are on celtics, How do we know that 85% of the public wasn't on atlanta, even before public took celtics. Though the percentages show celtics at 75% in reality it could have just brought the percentages to 50-50. I hope that makes sense. THESES ARE THE GAMES THAT GOT THE MOST ACTION WHEN THE LINES CAME OUT. I WILL POST THE TOP 3 IN ORDER. FADE THESES TEAMS!! #1 FADE = MLB = TOR/BOS OVER 9 #2 FADE = NBA = DETROIT -9.5 #3 FADE = NBA = DAL/NOR OVER 194 YESTERDAY'S RECORD 2-1-1

Dont' understand $maker. If you look at the smartcapper websites I do that use an average of 7 online sportsbooks...they show the total number of bets to the left....and then they show out of that many bets which percentage is on a certain side.

robert, I KNOW THAT TODAY NEW ORLEANS AND THE OVER IN PHI/DET GAME IS GETTING THE MOST ACTION. DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT DALLAS AND PHI/DET UNDER GOT ALOT OF ACTION WHEN THE LINE OPENED UP? I never really understood, why does it really matter what the public is betting on. If everyone is picking Detroit tonight, does that really mean philly is gonna end up winning the game? I don't see how that can affect the outcome of a game. Someone please enlighten me

It really doesn't but there are people who cap games in a different way! The belief is that they think by finding the team where most of the money is on and fading it, will give them a better chance at winning! The theory is simple...if the books really need the game then your chances to win is better! Why else are the books still in business! It's a very old theory but the truth is, its as good as 50/50. One will never know truely where the world wide money lies! A Mystery Market! A perfect example is this! Boston Celtics -3 at home to the Hawks. Say about 50 people bet the Celics at an average of 100 dollars laying the 3 but the 30 people on the other side take the Hawks at an average of 250 a play...Wheres most of the money on! The Hawks obviously and thats why Consensus can not be a trusted too!
