its funny how they missed a dunk and the way to get over was a big man shooting a three and making it.... i guess any players in the nba can make a three if they want too esp if they open and noone playing defense...

I must say that I've never bet a red penny on the NBA for this very reason. I do watch it somewhat closely though and it's obvious to me night in night out players know the spreads and the totals and are "told" which way to go. I live in Toronto and watch about 80 percent of the raptors games and I see this crap all the time. In the Atlanta game the other night the raptors missed about 8 buckets in a row from closer than the foul line in the last 4 minutes to bring the hawks back into the game. The first goal for the game was to get total (the over) once they get that, then they work on the sides. 7 seconds to go ATL down by 3, Bibby wide open look, he misses, raptors tip a along rebound out to next guy (i forget who) wide open look, he misses...rebound goes straight to Jamario Moon, not a hawk within 10 feet of him, what does he do, bobbles it around before slapping it out of bounds, I was just laughing...3.8 seconds left, inbound to bibby, Cash...ford haphaserdly through his hands in his face from about four feet away for the act. I'm sure I dont't have to tell you who covered in overtime.
NBA is a joke, players in on it, coaches, refs, timekeepers, everyone...I don't bet on it and it still makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to watch this shit night night in out...if you wanna bet on 3 sports that are not rigged at all try NHL
MLB and PGA...world class...they dont fuck over the innocent public
like someone said a couple of weeks ago though which rings very true...whether it's rigged or not , there is always a winning side, you just have to find it
fuck the NBA

MLB and PGA...Are you kidding. They are ALL fixed, Don’t kid yourself wadebelak06. Every last fuckin sport there is is fixed. If we bet on old women’s laundry folding, Granny would be messing with her fake teeth and miss a critical corner fold to lose to the old troll who everyone bet against. PS: the troll women has no arms. Hehehe. You get the point. One way or another, they WILL get addicts doe.

WAIT WAIT WAIT...
Responses here are mixed, but here's the truth:
You lost your Portlant bet because it wasnt a truely "solid" bet. If you think it will be THIS close, its a NO PLAY.
However, Another fact is:
"the NBA IS fixed!!! What are you... new or something?"

I can't believe we still have these discusions on here. Is the NBA fixed? Yes, they have caught ref's, players, etc. fixing games. Is every game fixed? Absolutely not. There is too much money on the line for certain games in certain situations not to be influenced. It is too easy to pay a ref a certain amount of money to fix a game to make huge profits for the "higher ups". Players are hard to get to these days because they don't need the money. They are all millionaires, and if they aren't millionaires, they aren't in the game.

This is really funny AND sad at the sametime. I was on thUNDER as well. I actually got it at 181.5. I got VERY lucky in that I was able to get it at that number.
What as more interesting was to watch the number of guys on this site alone who began jumping on the UNDER. I think Sarey was the fst guy to actually call it his play. And then all of the sudden, a lot of guys (me included) got on it.
The line opened at 183 (it think). It stayed there pretty mch all day. THen arond 2PM, when many of us were jumping on it, it begn to move down. And by game time, that damn line moved all the way to 178.
Now, that is a 5 point slide in a matter of 4 hours!!! I don't think I have EVER watched a line drop that much, that fast. To be honest, I thought I was screwed. When it drops that fast something is not good.
Fix? Probably. That 3 pointer was unnecesary. But we have ALL seen it many, many times! And we still continue to bet. I have said it many times. I am under the opinion some games are fixed. It's okay, I'm aware and MAKE the choice to still bet the games for entertainment!!
The point I make is that we just have to be lucky enough to not only cap the game properly but also be lucky enough to be on the right side of the fix!!!! And that is one thinkg we cannot control.
But we keep on betting.
Good luck today my frieds!!

The NBA and The NCAA Games are all fix no one on here can't change my mind about i have seen some strange things in both NBA and NCAA games. These guys have been playing ball all their whole life from childhood and they miss easy baskets come now they don't be blind to this they can hit jumpers with their eyes close, just like the other night in the NIT game with Ohio St. and Miss for the 1st half the o/u was 66 with three min. to go and they could not hit free throw are make and easy lay up all they need was 4 points for a push Guys watch out for TV games they play ugly every time and players in the NBA to watch is Tim Duncan, Tracey Mcgrady, Lebron James,Vince Carter,Elton Brand and more of them are out there they make you lose money they always looking up at the scoreboard why you need to look up and shot clock runs out on them it's not that much dfense in the world i am no dummy i c things that some of you backers don't see i have been calling it for years strange things going on in the sports world today

How did they get the 3 at the end? Looked like Portland scored and Houston had the ball with about 8 secs left. Houston was up by 12 and had the ball with 8 secs. Trouble inbounding the ball?

Wrong info, but still not sure about the 3. Any idea? I have seen many teams losing by that many points with 14 secs. left just dribble it out.
--->>Maybe they are working on that last second shots....WHY WASTE THE SECONDS...THIS IS NBA!!!! IF I WERE AN NBA PLAYER---> I WOULD NEVER WASTE A SHOTS EVEN IF MY TEAM IS UP BY 20PTS...STILL GOING TO SLAM DUNK OR SHOOT A 3PTS IN THE LAST SECONDS...THAT'S ME. NEVER WILL I DRIBBLE IT OUT, EVEN IF THIS IS THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP AND GOT 2 SEC LEFT.....GOING TO SLAM IT AND TAKE THAT LAST SHOT IF I GOT THE BALL......||win.gif' border=0>
