#1 Posted: 2/10/2013 5:40:30 PM Event date was 12/1/12. Don't want to mail it in and expect to be back there within 6 months.
Bellagio should always honor it as long as it's in a reasonable time frame, not like 5 years, yes?

#2 Posted: 2/10/2013 8:30:49 PM Absolutely NOT. 120 days from date of event. You had better follow the instructions on the back of the ticket. If it's from Bellagio I know they have instructions printed on the back side. |

#3 Posted: 2/10/2013 8:43:31 PM Yes, there is very much a time limit. Follow the instructions printed on every ticket

#4 Posted: 2/10/2013 8:51:18 PM I know what's technically printed on the back. I'm saying I hear there is a good chance they still honor it after the 120 days, say 180 days.
I'd be surprised to hear someone honestly had a ticket at a reputable book that was not cashed after a reasonable amount of time after the void date.

#5 Posted: 2/11/2013 8:42:00 AM Why risk it, though? Send it certified mail. For myself, and others I've read on here, the turn around time is 2-3 weeks

#6 Posted: 2/11/2013 2:04:39 PM You won the bet ,why gamble again? They gave you a statue of limitations and you're betting that some manager at the book will wink-wink let it slide for a customer as good as you? You won't get paid more if you wait 2 more months and you're too busy to spend 5-6 dollars to mail certified? Did you shop for a line before you bet in Dec,cause that was smart but now you're risking it all with no uptick.2-3 weeks. |

It's just like a lottery ticket, one day it will scan and pay, the next day it will not. I can guarantee that if you are late claiming your wager you WILL NOT BE PAID |

#9 Posted: 2/19/2013 2:41:38 PM Mail it back certified mail and you will get a check. When I worked at caesars palace sometimes someone would bring in a expired ticket. running it in system says not valaid They would take the ticket and ask them to come back in 10-15 minutes. the managers would look back to see if it won and they would pay it out. I have had tickets a year old but that would depend on book and manager on duty

How are we fools? We suggested a guaranteed way to get your cash and you're still willing to risk it if the right manager isn't there that day or if they tighten things up a bit.
Apparently you glossed right over the first thing he said. "Mail it back certified mail and you will get a check." |
