Now I realize why there are only a few SB's left in all of Vegas where I can bet on a game and drink for free.

Wow, there are a lot of angry people in this thread.
I agree with you pro mark tipping has gotten rediculous these days. As far as what you did of course it was wrong, but let's not forget that the girl was completely wrong. So she didn't get a dollar she gets all pissed off and talks garbage to someone who she thinks won't reciprocate. He could have taken it farther with management involved. It's kind of hard to feel sorry for her since her uneducated behind is making almost 100k a year. I don't drink around the strip anymore unless buddies are in town, but the local casinos have amuch better attitude. I play let it ride a lot and sometimes thats their tip I offer them if it wins they get half of the win.

So let me ask all you great tippers here a question. So you went to the club because your wifey wants a 10$ drink and it takes you about 20 minutes to get that drink what would you do?

Actually once you get a certain age you take the a%% whopping and just buy a bottle.  Outrageously expensive but worth it to me as wifey and I rarely go out.  Same with the my boys cause if everyone throws in as much as we'd each spend individually it'll typically work out the same way.   Nonetheless, I hear what you're saying about service people expecting a tip no matter what.

Tip for service rendered.
He ordered a drink.
She brought it.
He failed to tip appropriately.

She made a comment she should have kept to herself.
He went on a childish rant and tried to cost her her job.

He was 100 times more in the wrong then her.

It is complete bullshit to say people give less for tips because of the economy.  If you can afford to sit your behind down and gamble,  then you can afford to tip.  If you are down to your last dollars and order a drink,  cash out and tip appropriately.

And notice Promark never once called anybody a "Piece of this" or a "Piece of that".  And Promark never threatened violence on anybody.

That's because Promark has class

My friend is a waitress in vegas. She told me once this fool tipped her 45 cents. To make it worse she said it was 20 because she didnt want to count it after throwing it in her money belt. This fool followed her through the casino with his free beer to yell at her for not being appreciative of the 45 cent tip. She apologized because she was afraid the guy was some loony toon and wasn't worth the risk of sharing her true feelings.

Maybe you will see how those of us who take care of our servers get treated, and maybe you will make some money as well.

Bill, I've stayed at the MGM a few times and wondered about the Skybox area in the Sportsbook.  What size bets need to be played for them to open that area up to you?

Usually 10K per bet or more on one game or multiple 1K bets
Or you can be really cool to the manager Greg and take care of his ticket writers and after getting freindly, just ask him if you can watch from up there, Thats what I did, I usually bet 700 to 800 max per bet 300 on the low end, so I really dont belong up there, but you will be surprised how treating people like people and with respect will get you in that town.

I can proudly say that i haven't called anybody on this forum a "piece of this" or a "piece of that".  Nor have I threatened somebody with violence.

I have acted with much more class than others and am proud.

Well, I'm proud that I didn't call anybody in this forum a "Piece of this or a piece of that".  And I'm proud that I didn't threaten anybody with violence.

It seems that those defending the service industry aren't acting like they deserve a tip at all.

On the other hand, I have acted in a respectful manner.

Ha-ha harry, it's my thread, you are the one that keeps posting.  But I keep hitting them out of the park because of your weak pitching.  Try another angle, groupie . . .

i just got back from vegas

i was up a bunch but ended up gambling it away drunk after the clubs

anyways, i lost and i still tipped
if you expect to win it big in vegas you are an idiot

and if i would have seen you berate a waitress i would have told you to grow up on the spot

no offense but i would rather have no tip than $0.45

Pro,

I have nothing against you. In fact I admire your determination and grit. Grinding out a penny slot existance is tough I know.

Sometimes, the stress can be too much and you took it out on a waitress. It happens. We've all done worse at some point.

It is just good to see that you acted with dignity and didnt let your current situation dictate your actions on this board. You clearly learned from your mistake with the waitress and should be commended.

Heres to you hitting a 5-liner today!!
