I agree with you promark but alot of IDIOTS like to impress others by acting like they have more money than they really have!! Some just like to run their mouths or IMPRESS in other ways but the key word is"IMPRESS" others!!

REAL MEN DONT HAVE TO IMPRESS ANYONE!!

REAL MEN DONT GIVE A SH IT WHAT OTHERS THINK!!

I am not condoning not tipping(i tip for everything i get in casinos) but if that was all you had so be it!! If you did win or see her again I would make it up to her!!!

Really, 45 cents, First lesson in life,  you ALWAYS get what you pay for. If you do not like there service stay the hell out of there casino, keep your pennies.... The casino may not be perfect every visit but I can promise they live on customer service...     My first thought, yes the beer is free but the young lady serving you is trying to pay her bills, if you cant tip her, DO NOT have her running around for you whom we all can see is just another dumbass looking for something for free. I bet most of the time you have problems no matter where you go.

Promark, living in Vegas unemployed.  Get a job in the service industry and see how you feel, when you get stiffed, or get a shitty 45 pennies.  You are pathetic and a FLEA.  Get outta Vegas or stay and get a job.

I hate Vegas, what a sh-hole. Service attitudes on the strip blow. They know they can be rude because 10 seconds later someone else will be standing there.

We stopped in Bellagio last year where I picked up an $80 round of drinks. My 79 yo old mom asked for a bowl of pretzels or something to snack on, the waitress said no because only 7 out of 8 ordered a drink! Every time I have to go I hate it more.

For Nevada I suggest a nice property in Reno like the Peppermill or Atlantis. That or South Lake Tahoe.

Golden Nugget is by far the nicest hotel downtown.

I immediately cashed out and ran her down.  In front of other customers, I reamed her for making fun of my tip, which was 45 cents, not the 20 cents she claimed.  She was embarrassed and she appologized for the indescression which was the right thing for her to do. The appology calmed me down and I went on my way, knowing that she had learned her lesson.

That is friggin hilarious lol

Before you order a drink make sure you have a buck (minimum) to tip with...if you don't then don't waste a servers time..the way it sounds you frequently have no money to tip but you have plenty of money to go from slot to slot, casino to casino, be generous and you might be surprised that your luck gets better...without a doubt your interactions with people will go from combative to friendly !!

This is tricky. The waitress should have used better judgment and just smiled, go to the back, and grab a pack of saltine guy or whatever the house had to offer. You, as the consumer are responsible to make purchases for yourself. If mom was hungry, order a soup or something. Its ridiculous how you were treated, but at the same time, its your responsibility. Personally, I would have probably lowered my tip average to around 10% for the waitresses "hospitality."

only read the first page, but imo:

industry standard is $1 per drink, at least.

you should not have ordered a drink in the first place. if you are gambling to make a living, you likely a. should not be drinking while doing it, b. spending your BR on tipping for unnecesary drinks.

the first thing i do when i sit down to play, if i plan to order a drink, is think about the tip money i have in my pocket. that's irresponsible of you.

she should not have made the comment, that's unprofessional.
